14C28N - a martensitic chrome stainless steel is the latest development in the range of knife steels produced by Sandvik's Swedish mills. An optimised chemical composition with a unique combination provides superior quality, excellent edge performance, high hardness and corrosion resistance. By reducing the amount of carbon 0.62% (C) and increasing the chromium content 14.0% (Cr), as well as adding nitrogen 0.11% (N), corrosion resistance is significantly increased. Considered an improved version of 13C26 steel. Unbeatable in the price/quality category!

Blade - wide, solid, Tanto type with sharply defined ground transitions, covered with a black protective coating. The small thickness of the blade combined with the high, flat grind gives excellent cutting edge geometry and extreme cutting performance. Ball bearing ceramic supports the smooth operation of the blade's opening mechanism, which can be opened with a quick flipper flipper (index-finger flipper). When opened, the flipper forms a mini-guard to prevent the hand from slipping on the blade. The double-sided peg in the wedge can also be used to open it. On the back of the upper jimping wedge, a notched thumb rest. The whole is locked with a solid liner lock.

Handle - made of Burlap Micarta, a composite material of jute canvas compressed with synthetic resin. The chamfered edges of the covers eliminate sharp edges and the textured surface enhances comfort and grip. The open-backed design, fixed with steel spacer sleeves, reduces weight and facilitates cleaning. The pivot is decorated with a stylised Civivi brand logo. The two-position, right/left deep carry clip allows the knife to be carried discreetly in the pocket in the tip-up position (blade tip upwards).

Case - the knife is packaged in a zipped soft nylon case with the brand logo. It is used to safely store and transport the folder.
