1.4116 (X50CrMoV15) - molybdenum-vanadium high-carbon, martensitic stainless steel, highly resistant to corrosion and wear. Used in the manufacture of knives, high-end cutlery and surgical instruments. It is characterized by a fairly high, for stainless steels, hardness of 56-58 HRC. The chemical composition of the steel was enriched by doping 15.0% Chromium, 0.80% Molybdenum, 0.20% Vanadium.
The steel was subjected to CRYO-T cryogenic treatment, also known as freeze-thawing. CRYO-T results in a homogeneous internal structure of the steel which translates into a significant increase in the strength of the blade, increasing resistance to impact, stress and torsion.
Blade - a wide, solid Drop Point blade finished elegantly with Satin finish. Despite its thickness, the flat grind provides excellent cutting qualities combined with superb durability. Slightly descending guard protects fingers from slipping on the blade while working. On the back of the blade jimping, notching for the thumb.
Handle grips - rough Micarta grips (pressure-pressed canvas with synthetic resin), which were screwed to the tang. The contoured Handle eliminates sharp edges for comfortable grip. The screws are surrounded by red circles of anodized aluminum. In the back, a protruding section of the tango can be used as an improvised glass breaker, and includes a hole for threading a safety cable.
Sheath - hand-stitched, made of top quality cowhide in black with embossed manufacturer's logo. The edges of the case are stitched with decorative thread. Belt attachment allows you to carry the knife in an upright position.
Accessory - pendant made of cord and metal sleeve in red.
