AISI 420 (American Iron and Steel Institute) - martensitic stainless steel rich in carbon 0.15% and containing min. 12% chromium. In the annealed state, it has good ductility and excellent corrosion resistance. AISI 420 grade has the highest chromium content of all stainless steels, 12-14%, and a hardness in the range of 52 -55 HRC.
Blade - Clip Point type, slim and extremely sharp, finished impressively in Mirror Finish. Plain blade is led out with a concave grind (Hollow Grind) for geometry and strength and for effective and deep cuts. Nail Nick recess for opening the blade. Robust Back-Lock.
Handle - ergonomic, covered with temperature-resistant textured ABS hardened plastic grips in black. Molded finger cutouts strengthen the grip even with wet hands. The knife is equipped with a left-side metal clip that allows the knife to be carried in tip-down position (blade tip down). In the back of the Handle, a hole for attaching a safety cable.
