The Yaru Carbon Fiber 3K, Black Stonewashed PVD is an enlarged version of the Suru knife, a sturdy folding knife suited for more demanding applications. Designed in accordance with the modern, minimalist style of Danish knifemaker Jesper Voxnæs.

M398 Microclean® - a martensitic high-performance chrome steel produced by powder metallurgy. Due to its alloy concept, it has extremely high wear resistance and high corrosion resistance. Due to its high wear resistance, it adequately retains the shape of the edge, so that the blade remains sharp for a very long time (requiring minimal maintenance). Another of the advantages is resistance to the formation of "wire" during sharpening. The steel has a high chromium content of 20.0% (Cr) and carbon content of 2.7% (C) and vanadium 7.2% (V), with molybdenum 1.0% (Mo), tungsten 0.7% (W). Designed to provide better strength compared to M390, launched in 2019. M398 contains more carbon and vanadium, making it a very hard 60-62 HRC steel. Manufactured by Böhler Edelstahl in Kapfenberg, Austria.

Stone Washed PVD - the blade has undergone a Stone Washed finish to mask minor scratches. Subsequently, the durability of the blade's surface and cutting edge was increased using the Physical Vapor Deposition (PVD) method of thin surface coating, in which a layer of coating material is deposited on a substrate by condensation from the gas phase to the solid phase. The deposited coating has a very high hardness, which greatly increases the resistance of the blade to abrasive wear.

Blade - wide, reverse tanto type. Finished with a scratch-masking Stone Washed method and coated with a black PVD coating. The generous belly extends the length of the cutting edge in relation to the length of the blade converging towards the needle-sharp tip of the knife. The thickness of the blade provides high strength while the high, flat grind gives excellent cutting edge geometry and extreme cutting performance. Ball bearings support the opening of the blade by means of an opening available on both sides of the wedge or by means of a quick flipper flipper (index-finger flipper). When opened, the flipper forms a mini-guard to prevent the hand from slipping on the blade. The whole thing is locked with the proven and popular liner lock.

Handle - grips made of Carbon Fiber 3K (carbon fiber compressed with synthetic resin) with a beautiful design, insensitive to weather conditions, resistant to mechanical damage. Chamfered cover edges eliminate sharp edges for comfortable grip. Black PVD-coated titanium backspacer provides rigidity and sturdiness to the overall design. A two-position (right/left) lightweight wire clip allows the knife to be carried in the tip-up position, with the tip of the blade upward. Above the clip a hole for threading a safety or decorative cord.

Comes with a leather case for storing and carrying the knife.
