Vanax - is a combination of corrosion resistance at the level of, for example, AISI 316L, with a hardness of 60 HRC and wear resistance typical of cold working tool steel. A powder steel that passes the test where previously used materials have failed, and provides resistance in even the most corrosive environments. Its unique material properties are a guarantee of reliability throughout the production cycle, under the most extreme conditions and for even the most demanding working materials. Blade - Drop Point type, finished masking fine scratches with Bead Blasted method. The gently curved cutting edge converges towards the needle-sharp tip of the knife. A mixed flat grind is used here, in the rear part is a coarser flat grind for heavier work called Flat Ground Primary Bevel. In the front part we have a high flat ground for cutting and precision work. To improve piercing capabilities, an unsharpened false blade is brought out at the top. Ball bearing ceramic supports the opening of the blade with a quick flipper (index-finger flipper) when opened acting as a stag. The entire blade is locked with the proven and popular frame lock with a steel inlay to prevent wiping of the lock face.
Handle - made of solid titanium 6AL4V with blue accents. Contouring of the covers eliminates sharp edges. On both sides there is an inlay (insert) made of flame-dyed titanium. Only a few companies are able to make the Handle with such incredible accuracy! The grips are joined together using a titanium backspacer. A two-position clip (right/left), made of titanium, allows the knife to be carried in tip-up position. The pivot axis is decorated with a flame-dyed titanium rim (pivot collar cap). In the recess of the backspacer a place for attaching a safety or decorative cord.
