M390 Microclean® - martensitic high-performance chromium steel produced using powder metallurgy. Due to the alloy concept, it is characterized by extremely high wear resistance and high corrosion resistance. Thanks to its high wear resistance, it retains its edge shape, keeping the blade sharp for a very long time (requires minimal maintenance). Another advantage is its resistance to “wire” formation during sharpening. Steel with a high chromium content of 20.0% (Cr) and an admixture of 1.9% carbon (C), 4.0% vanadium (V), hardened to 59-61 HRC. This super steel is comparable to Carpenter's CPM 20CV or CTS-204P steels. Manufactured by Böhler Edelstahl in Kapfenberg, Austria.

The small thickness of the blade, combined with a high, flat grind, gives excellent cutting edge geometry and extreme cutting performance. Ceramic ball bearings support the smooth operation of the blade's opening mechanism, which can be opened with a quick front flipper (index-finger front flipper). As a result, it can be easily used by right- and left-handed people. We can also open it using the opening in the wedge. On the back of the upper jimping wedge, a notched thumb rest. The whole is locked with the proven and popular frame lock with a steel inlay to prevent wiping of the lock face.
Handle - is two pieces of solid titanium 6AL4V with a slightly rough texture. Chamfered edges of the covers eliminate sharp edges for comfort and improve grip security. The solid titanium backspacer to which the grips are attached guarantees the rigidity and strength of the entire structure. The simple, solid design gives you the assurance of many years of use. The fore finger groove improves grip security. The pivot axis is decorated with a stylized Kubey Knife brand logo. A single-position (right) titanium deep-carry clip allows you to carry the knife discreetly in your pocket in tip-up position (blade tip up). In the recess of the backspacer a place to thread a safety or decorative cord.
