420 - martensitic stainless steel rich in 0.15% carbon, containing min. 12% chromium, which offers high hardenability in the 54-56 HRC range as well as strength, toughness, machinability and excellent corrosion resistance. The high carbon content produces chromium carbide compounds for wear resistance and edge retention after hardening. Due to its high hardness, the steel is suitable for manufacturing cutting tools, knife blades and medical instruments.

The small thickness of the blade, combined with a high, flat grind, gives excellent cutting edge geometry and extreme cutting performance. On the back a false blade for increased piercing capabilities.Smooth operation of the blade's opening mechanism, which can be opened with a quick flipper flipper (index-finger flipper).
