N690Co - cobalt-rich 1.65% (Co) corrosion-resistant, high-carbon 1.07% (C), martensitic chromium steel 17.30% (Cr) with molybdenum 1.10% (Mo), vanadium 0.10% (V). Developed to provide better wear resistance compared to the original Böhler N690 steel, but with higher cobalt (Co) content in its composition. It features exceptionally high corrosion resistance and long edge retention. One of the best tool steels in the world today. Hardened in the range of 59-61 HRC. Manufactured by Böhler Edelstahl in Kapfenberg, Austria.

LAWKS - Lake and Walker Knife Safety is a patented safety system for folding knives using the Walker Linerlock, designed by well-known Knifemakers Guild members Ron Lake and Michael Walker. The LAWKS mechanism consists of a switch on the knife's handle, connected to the liner lock. When pulled back, the liner lock can be easily depressed to close the knife. Conversely, when the safety switch is pushed forward, it acts as an additional lock, ensuring that the liner lock cannot be used to close the knife, making the folding knife an almost fixed-blade tool.
Handle - made of jute micarta, a virtually indestructible material that is insensitive to weather, resistant to chemicals and mechanical damage. Chamfered edges of the covers eliminate sharp edges, and the fore finger groove made on the front improves grip security. The grips are screwed to a solid backspacer, they give confidence in the correct rigidity of the whole structure. The backspacer has a hidden lanyard hole, a hole for threading a safety or decorative cord.
