M398 - martensitic high-performance chrome steel, produced by powder metallurgy. Due to the alloy concept, it has extremely high wear resistance and high corrosion resistance. Due to its high wear resistance, it adequately retains the shape of the edge, so that the blade remains sharp for a very long time (requiring minimal maintenance). Another of the advantages is resistance to the formation of "wire" during sharpening. The steel has a high chromium content of 20.0% (Cr) and carbon content of 2.7% (C) and vanadium 7.2% (V), with molybdenum 1.0% (Mo), tungsten 0.7% (W). Designed to provide better strength compared to M390, launched in 2019. M398 contains more carbon and vanadium, making it a very hard 60-62 HRC steel. Manufactured by Böhler Edelstahl in Kapfenberg, Austria.
Blade - Drop Point finished in an elegant Satin method. Plain blade derived with Hollow Grind which gives excellent cutting edge geometry and extreme cutting performance. Frame-Lock reinforced monolithic 6AI4V titanium blade lock , one of the grip grips acts as a locking mechanism. Located on the underside of the blade protrusion / flipper, assisted by a Ball bearing system facilitates the opening of the blade. In the open position, it serves as a lower guard / hilt protecting the hand from slipping off the handle. The knife can also be opened with the SpyderHole round notch (Spyderco patent), enlarged to 14 mm, which allows the knife to be opened even with a glove. The entire blade is locked with the proven and popular frame lock with a steel inlay to prevent wiping of the lock face.
ReF - (Removable Flipper System) located on the underside of the blade, the Double Crown assisted flipper protrusion/flipper flipper makes it easy to open the blade with one hand. It consists of a small lever (protrusion) that extends beyond the back of the Handle when the Blade is closed. In the open position, the protrusion acts as a stinger, protecting the hand from slipping on the blade. In the folder, it is possible to unscrew the lever of the Removable Flipper System(unscrew the flipper fin, and then insert the second screw located in the box).

The right side is 3D-machined solid titanium screwed to a Carbon Fiber backspacer, which provides the desired structural rigidity.
