M390 - martensitic high-performance chrome steel produced by powder metallurgy. Due to the alloy concept, it has extremely high wear resistance and high corrosion resistance. Due to its high wear resistance, it adequately maintains the shape of the edge, so the blade stays sharp for a very long time (requiring minimal maintenance). Another of the advantages is resistance to the formation of "wire" during sharpening. The steel has a high chromium content of 20.0% (Cr) doped with 1.9% carbon (C), vanadium 4.0% (V), hardened between 59-61 HRC, vacuum and cryogenic treatment and double tempering. This super steel is comparable to Carpenter's CPM 20CV or CTS-204P steels. Manufactured by Böhler Edelstahl in Kapfenberg, Austria.
Blade - Clip Point type , finished with a scratch-masking bath of fine Stonewashed pebbles and then black coated. The elongated belly extends the length of the cutting edge relative to the length of the blade converging toward the needle-sharp tip of the knife. The thickness of the blade provides high strength whilethe high, flat grind gives excellent cutting edge geometry and extreme cutting performance. Ball bearing ceramic supports the opening of the blade with a quick flipper (index-finger flipper) when opened acting as a stag. We can also open the knife with a double-sided stud in the blade (Dual Thumb Stud). The whole is locked with the proven and popular frame lock with a steel inlay to prevent wiping of the lock face.
Handle - made of one piece of black anodized titanium 6AI4V, machined on CNC milling machines. Monolithic skeleton (body) of the highest strength, which is a solid structural element that guarantees the rigidity and strength of the entire structure. Only a few companies are able to make the Handle with such incredible accuracy! The simplicity and solidity of the design give you the assurance of many years of use.On the display side, a series of holes were made, which not only reduce the weight of the knife but at the same time add visual lightness. The single-position clip (right), made of titanium, allows you to carry the knife in tip-up position. The pivot is made of titanium and decorated with a gold anodized titanium rim (pivot collar cap).
