9 Blue Titanium, Satin by hand is Rafal “Brr” Brzeski's first project for Bestech, combining exceptional design with the highest quality materials. A utilitarian design, created with the most demanding users in mind. The blade is made of excellent Böhler M390 steel, known for its long hold on sharpness and resistance to corrosion. The ergonomic Handle, precisely made of titanium, provides not only extreme durability, but also a perfect fit for almost any hand, which significantly increases the comfort of use. The knife's strong construction makes it an ideal tool for heavy work, unafraid of any challenge. Every detail of this knife has been carefully thought out to ensure maximum functionality and reliability in all conditions. Thanks to the use of the finest materials and precise workmanship, the Bestech 9 knife is an excellent choice for professionals and enthusiasts who appreciate the highest quality and reliability.
M390 - martensitic high-performance chrome steel produced by powder metallurgy. Due to the alloy concept, it has extremely high wear resistance and high corrosion resistance. Due to its high wear resistance, it adequately maintains the shape of the edge, so the blade stays sharp for a very long time (requiring minimal maintenance). Another of the advantages is resistance to the formation of “wire” during sharpening. The steel has a high chromium content of 20.0% (Cr) doped with 1.9% carbon (C), vanadium 4.0% (V), hardened between 59-61 HRC, vacuum and cryogenic treatment and double tempering. This super steel is comparable to Carpenter's CPM 20CV or CTS-204P steels. Manufactured by Böhler Edelstahl in Kapfenberg, Austria.
Blade - slender, Wharncliff type finished with elegant satin finish. The straight cutting edge converges towards the needle-sharp tip of the knife. The thickness of the blade provides high strength whilethe high, flat grind gives excellent cutting edge geometry and extreme cutting performance. Ceramic ball bearings support the opening of the blade with a quick index-finger flipper (flipper) when opened acting as a stag. The entire blade is locked with the proven and popular frame lock with a steel inlay to prevent wiping of the lock face.
Handle - is two pieces of glazed titanium 6AL4V. Chamfered edges of the covers eliminate sharp edges for comfort and improve grip security. The solid titanium backspacer to which the grips are attached guarantees the rigidity and strength of the entire structure. The simplicity and robustness of the design give confidence in many years of use. Single-position clip (right), made of titanium, allows you to carry the knife in tip-up position.
Case - the knife is packed in a zippered nylon soft pouch with the brand's logo for safe carrying and storage of the folder.
