14C28N - martensitic chromium stainless steel is the latest development in the range of knife steels produced by Sandvik's Swedish mills . An optimized chemical composition with a unique combination provides superior quality, excellent edge performance, high hardness and corrosion resistance. By reducing the amount of carbon 0.62% (C) and increasing the chromium content 14.0% (Cr), as well as adding nitrogen 0.11% (N), corrosion resistance has been significantly improved. Considered an improved version of 13C26 steel. Unbeatable in the price/quality category!

Nested Liner Lock, a modification of the liner-lock by nesting the liner of the locking mechanism in the grip.

Blade - Reverse Tanto type , finished masking minor scratches with a bath of fine Stonewashed pebbles and then covered with a black coating. The small thickness of the blade, combined with a high, flat grind, gives excellent cutting edge geometry and extreme cutting performance. Ball bearing ceramic supports the smooth operation of the opening mechanism of the wedge, which can be opened with a double-sided pin in the wedge (dual thumb stud). On the back of the upper jimping wedge, a notched thumb rest. The whole is locked with a solid nested liner lock. The line of the cutting edge falls below the bottom edge of the Handle, so you can effectively work with the knife on a cutting board without painfully bruising your knuckles.

Handle grips - grips made of G10 composite , a virtually indestructible material, insensitive to weather conditions, resistant to chemicals and mechanical damage. Aggressive surface texture for comfort and sure grip. Open-backed design reduces weight and facilitates cleaning. Simple, secure design provides assurance of years of use. Two-position (right/left) wire clip allows you to carry the knife discreetly in your pocket in tip-up position (blade tip up).

Case - the knife is packed in a zippered soft nylon case with the brand's logo. It is used for safe storage and transportation of the folder.
