420 - high carbon martensitic stainless steel with an increased carbon (C) content of 0.17% to 0.23%, also containing chromium (Cr) and molybdenum (Mo). It offers high hardenability in the 54-58 HRC range, as well as strength, ductility, machinability and excellent corrosion resistance. The high carbon content forms chromium carbide compounds, providing wear resistance and edge retention after hardening. Due to its high hardness, this steel is suitable for manufacturing cutting tools, knife blades and medical instruments.
Blade - wide and strong with Bowie profile finished with elegant Satinization. Despite its thickness, the hollow grind provides excellent cutting properties combined with excellent strength. The long false blade enhances piercing properties. Guard on both sides, made of zinc-aluminum alloy, protects fingers from slipping on the blade while working.
Handle - covered with a flexible molded elastomeric lining, ending in a pommel. Soft rubber Handle fits well in the hand, the knife does not slip from even with wet hands. The firm and secure grip allows you to make precise movements with the knife. Guard and Pommel made of zinc and aluminum alloy.
Sheath - made of durable cordura. Fastened with a Prym type snap. Belt attachment allows you to carry the knife in an upright position.
