14C28N - martensitic chromium stainless steel is the latest development in the range of knife steels produced by Swedish Sandvik steel mills. An optimized chemical composition with a unique combination provides superior quality, excellent edge performance, high hardness and corrosion resistance. By reducing the amount of carbon 0.62% (C) and increasing the chromium content 14.0% (Cr), as well as adding nitrogen 0.11% (N), corrosion resistance has been significantly improved. Blade - Tanto type, finished with an elegant satin finish. The generous belly extends the length of the cutting edge in relation to the length of the wide blade converging towards the needle-sharp tip of the knife. The thickness of the wedge and the flat grind give excellent cutting edge geometry and extreme cutting performance. The long hole in the wedge serves to reduce weight. A notched section of the back of the head, the spine jimping ramp positions the thumb, giving solid support, making it easier to operate the knife.

Handle - monolithic, which is an extension of the blade, facings made of G10 composite, a virtually indestructible material insensitive to weather, resistant to chemicals and mechanical damage. The curved shape of the edge eliminates sharp spots that could affect grip comfort. The unique ergonomics of the handle allows long work without fatigue. The hole in the handle also relieves the whole thing improving balance. The protruding part of the tango can be used in the field as a glass breaker.
