14C28N - Martensitic chromium stainless steel is the latest development in a range of knife steels produced by Swedish steel mills Sandvik. An optimized chemical composition with a unique combination provides superior quality, excellent edge performance, high hardness and corrosion resistance. By reducing the amount of carbon 0.62% (C) and increasing the chromium content 14.0% (Cr), as well as adding nitrogen 0.11% (N), corrosion resistance has been significantly improved. Considered an improved version of 13C26 steel. Unbeatable in the price / quality category!

Blade - Drop Point type, finished with elegant satin finish. The generous belly extends the length of the cutting edge in relation to the length of the wide blade converging towards the needle-sharp tip of the knife. The thickness of the blade and the flat grind give excellent cutting edge geometry and extreme cutting performance. A notched section of the Blade's back, the spine jimping ramp positions the thumb, giving solid support, making it easier to operate the knife. A series of holes reduces weight.

Handle - the tang of the knife with a series of holes to reduce weight and improve grip. At the top you will find a notched (jimping) section to improve control in reverse grip. The simple, solid construction guarantees many years of use. Fore Finger Groove, a deep cut under the index finger and a finger ring back ring / tail ring / pommel ring prevent the knife from slipping while working and also allow you to perform simple manual work without putting the knife down.
