D2 - a high-carbon, high-chromium high-speed tool steel heat-treated to 58-60 HRC. With a high chromium content of 13.0% (Cr), it offers greater corrosion resistance than most high-carbon steels. Combines strength, excellent edge holding and easy sharpening. Features high wear resistance due to high carbide content in the microstructure.
Blade - Spear Point type, with a striking Two Tone finish, satin cut, the rest of the blade is coated with Stonewash. The gentle belly extends the length of the cutting edge in relation to the length of the blade converging towards the needle-sharp tip of the knife. The thickness of the blade provides high strength while the high, flat grind gives excellent cutting edge geometry and extreme cutting performance. Ball bearings support the opening of the blade with a quick index-finger flipper when opened acting as a stag. The entire blade is locked with the proven and popular liner lock.
Handle grips made of G10, a practically indestructible plastic insensitive to weather conditions, resistant to chemicals and mechanical damage Chamfered edges of the covers eliminate sharp edges and characteristic texturing of the surface improves grip security.
