Temperance Sprint Run Red FRN, Satin is a limited edition training knife based on the design of a handy EDC knife, designed by the founder of Spyderco, Sal Glesser. This unique knife features a large, ergonomic Handle made of FRN (fiberglass-reinforced nylon) composite, which provides excellent durability and comfort. Blade without cutting edges, securely finished flat. The knife comes with a specially designed sheath made of Boltaron material, which provides safe storage and easy access. In addition, the sheath features a versatile G-Clip for a variety of attachment options. The Temperance Training Knife is an excellent situational training tool, guaranteeing a high degree of realism while maintaining maximum safety.
420J2 martensitic stainless steel rich in 0.15% carbon, containing min. 12.0% chromium, which offers high hardenability in the 54-56 HRC range as well as strength, toughness, machinability and excellent corrosion resistance. The high carbon content produces chromium carbide compounds for wear resistance and edge retention after hardening. Due to its high hardness, the steel is suitable for manufacturing cutting tools, knife blades and medical instruments.
Blade - Leaf-Shaped type (leaf shape), securely finished flat (Dull Trainer), satin finish. Blade without cutting edge, with rounded edges to avoid even accidental injury. A set of holes in the Blade is designed to bring the balance of the knife closer to the cutting edge version. A SpyderHole hole at the top bears the manufacturer's trademark. Notched thumb ramp on the back of the Blade increases the control of the knife.
Handle - non-slip texturing and recesses on both sides of the handle strengthen the grip even with wet hands. Made of FRN (Fiberglass Reinforced Nylon), a fiberglass-reinforced nylon, a lightweight composite that is insensitive to weather, resistant to chemicals and mechanical damage. In the back of the Handle a hole (lanyard hole) for a cord.
Sheath - made of Boltaron®, holsters and cases made of it are characterized by resistance to scratches and chemicals. Equipped with a multi-position G-Clip handle with two adjusting screws, which allows carrying on a belt or on a weapon's armor in six different positions.
