The curved cutting edge tapers toward the blade tip. The blade thickness combined with a high flat grind provides excellent edge geometry and extreme cutting performance. Ceramic ball bearings ensure smooth and fluid operation of the mechanism and assist in opening the blade using the flipper (index-finger flipper), which acts as a guard once the blade is open.
