AUS-10 - Japanese stainless steel, often compared to 440C series steel and for good reason, because the compositions are similar, but these slight differences make AUS-10 harder (usually hardened to around 60 HRC) and dulls more slowly, without losing its resistance to rust. Knives made of this steel are relatively cheap and will be a great choice if your budget is not too high and you want the knife to be rust-proof.
Blade - Drop Point type, finished with a Stonewashed method to mask small scratches caused during use, and then coated with a black coating. The gently curved cutting edge converges towards the tip of the blade. The thickness of the blade in combination with the high, flat grind gives excellent cutting edge geometry and extreme cutting performance. Ceramic ball bearings ensure a smooth and easy-running mechanism and support the opening of the blade with a fast flipper which forms a mini guard after opening to prevent the hand from slipping onto the blade. Handle - grips made of Micarta composite, a material with high mechanical strength and almost complete resistance to weather and chemicals, textured for a better grip, screwed to the steel frame of the knife. The two-position (right/left) metal deep carry clip allows the knife to be carried discreetly in the pocket in a tip-up position (with the tip of the blade up).
