Kunai Stonewashed Skeletonized designed by renowned American knifemaker Jake Hoback, inspired by the small daggers used by ninjas. A fixed blade knife with a neck and carefully ground edges. The blade is made of Scandinavian Sandvik 14C28N steel, which has been subjected to vacuum hardening and cryogenic freezing. This results in high damage resistance and above-average cutting edge durability. The skeletonized handle design reduces the weight and increases the grip. The finger ring prevents the knife from falling out of the hand and allows you to work without putting the knife down. The set includes a sheath made of thermoplastic kydex, precisely adapted to the shape of the knife. The sheath comes with a practical Tek-Lok clip, which allows you to conveniently carry the knife on your belt or backpack. 14C28N - martensitic stainless chromium steel is the latest development in the range of knife steels produced by the Swedish steelworks Sandvik. The optimized chemical composition with a unique combination ensures the highest quality, excellent edge performance, high hardness and corrosion resistance. By reducing the carbon content to 0.62% (C) and increasing the chromium content to 14.0% (Cr), as well as adding nitrogen to 0.11% (N), the corrosion resistance has been significantly increased. Considered an improved version of 13C26. Unbeatable in terms of price/quality!

Vacuum & Cryogenic - 14C28N steel undergoes a specialized heat treatment process involving two key stages. Vacuum Heat Treatment - the steel is hardened in a vacuum environment, which minimizes oxidation and ensures more uniform metal properties. This process increases the strength and structural integrity of the steel. Cryogenic Treatment After heating, the steel is rapidly cooled to extremely low temperatures, often below -100°C (-148°F). This transformation changes the residual austenite into martensite, significantly increasing the hardness, wear resistance and overall durability. Thanks to these advanced processes, 14C28N steel ensures exceptional performance, offering both razor-sharp edge retention and extraordinary blade durability.

Blade - Arrow type, finished with a stonewashed method to mask small scratches caused during use. The thickness of the blade ensures high durability, while the low flat grind gives excellent cutting edge geometry and extreme cutting performance.

Handle - a series of holes in the handle reduces weight and improves grip. They can also be used to make a paracord braid on the knife. The contoured shape ensures a comfortable, secure grip even with wet hands. The forefinger groove is notched to improve control of the knife. At the back, there is a finger ring that prevents the knife from slipping out of the hand during work. It can also be used as an improvised ice pick.

Sheath - made of Kydex, extendable, protects the blade and part of the handle. Thanks to the Tek-Lok clip, the knife can be attached to a belt or equipment in almost any way.
