CPM MagnaCut – powdered stainless steel produced in the Crucible® Particle Metallurgy (CPM) process, hardened to 60.5-62.5 HRC. The high vanadium content of 4.0% (V), molybdenum content of 2.0% (Mo) and niobium content of 2.0% (Nb) guarantee a level of sharpness and purity that is unmatched by more “conventional” steels. Specially designed and developed for blade production by Larrin Thomas, it meets all the requirements of knife enthusiasts. Thanks to CPM MagnaCut, it has been possible to create a steel that combines exceptional properties like no other knife steel. Blade - Sheepsfoot type with a slightly curved cutting edge ensures excellent edge geometry and extreme cutting performance. The blade is finished with an elegant satin finish. The thin blade combined with a high, flat grind (flat grind) results in a perfect cutting edge geometry and extreme cutting performance. Phosphor bronze washers ensure smooth opening. The knife can be opened using the hole in the blade. The whole is locked with the proven and reliable back lock.
Handle grips made of titanium, a metal with extremely high mechanical strength and virtually complete resistance to weather conditions and chemicals, covered with a geometric texture for improved grip. A solid backspacer provides the desired rigidity. The simple, solid design ensures many years of use.
