Sleipner - a universal high-alloy chromium-molybdenum-vanadium tool steel with high wear and chipping resistance and a balanced alloy composition: chromium content 7.8% (Cr), 0.9% carbon (C), molybdenum 2.5% (Mo) and vanadium 0.5% (V). Achieves a high hardness of 60-62 HRC. Manufactured at the Uddeholm steelworks.

DLC (Diamond Like Carbon) increases the durability of the blade surface with a black, matte nanocomposite coating that has unique properties such as exceptional hardness and low friction, as well as excellent corrosion protection. It is one of the most scratch and wear resistant coatings used in industry, including the knife industry.

Blade - Dagger type, sharpened on one side, coated with black DLC. The light belly extends the length of the cutting edge in relation to the length of the blade, converging towards the needle-sharp tip of the knife. The slim design combined with the high flat grind gives excellent cutting properties and the long grain with hole increases the durability of the blade. Ball bearings support the smooth operation of the blade opening mechanism, which can be opened with a quick flipper fin (index-finger flipper). Once opened, the flipper forms a mini-guard to prevent the hand from slipping onto the blade. There is also a guard on the other side, both with fluorescent dots made of Swiss Superluminova to make it easier to find the knife in the dark. The whole is locked with a proven and popular liner lock.

Handle - G10 composite grips, a mechanically extremely durable material that is practically completely resistant to weather conditions and chemicals, textured for better grip. The open open-backed design, which is attached with steel spacers, reduces weight and makes cleaning easier. The simple, reliable design ensures many years of use. The two-position left/right-handed wire clip deep carry allows the knife to be carried in a tip-up position.
