Emerson Opener (Emerson Wave) patented by Ernest Emerson, a hook on the back of the blade that allows the blade to be opened quickly when removing the knife from a pocket by hooking the pocket edge.
N690Co - cobalt-rich 1.65% (Co), corrosion-resistant, high-carbon 1.07% (C), martensitic chromium steel 17.30% (Cr) with molybdenum 1.10% (Mo) and vanadium 0.10% (V). Developed to provide better wear resistance compared to the original Böhler N690 steel, but with a higher cobalt content of 1.50% (Co) for structural homogeneity. The hawk bill profile mimics the tearing action of an eagle's talon or a tiger's claw, piercing and cutting at the same time. The plain blade has an ultra-thin tip and perfect curvature for maximum cutting efficiency. The Emerson Wave hook forms a ramp on which you can rest your thumb when using the knife. The knife can be opened with the Emerson Wave hook, a flipper, or an oval hole in the handle, suitable for use with gloves. The lock is a proven and reliable Liner Lock.
Handle - grips made of aluminum, a durable metal resistant to mechanical damage and chemicals. It is decorated with a graphic storm motif. The open-backed design reduces weight and simplifies cleaning. Spine jimping - grooves on the back of the handle for improved grip. Clip (left/right) for carrying the knife in tip-up position with the tip facing up. Handle ends with finger ring (Back Ring) which makes it easier to rotate the folder around your finger, enabling you to perform traditional techniques.
