The SpyNano Flash Batch Green Canvas Micarta/Titanium, Satin is a unique example of Spyderco's approach to designing collectible micro EDC knives. As part of the limited edition Flash Batch, a design has been created that combines artisan aesthetics with modern engineering. The design uses a combination of Canvas Micarta composite and titanium, offering a balance between a warm, organic look and mechanical durability. The overall design has been refined for enthusiasts who expect not only elegant design, but also full functionality. Blade is made of Böhler M398 powder steel , ranked among ultra-premium materials in terms of sharpness retention and abrasion resistance. The drop point profile, hollow grind and satin finish of the blade guarantee effectiveness even with micro dimensions of the tool. The R.I.L. lock, located in the titanium part of the Handle, ensures safety during use, and the opening is done with the classic Round Hole™. This is a model that impresses with its details and proves that size does not exclude utility.

M398 Microclean® - a martensitic high-performance chrome steel, produced by powder metallurgy. Due to its alloy concept, it has extremely high wear resistance and high corrosion resistance. Due to its high wear resistance, it adequately retains the shape of the edge, so that the blade remains sharp for a very long time (requiring minimal maintenance). Another of the advantages is resistance to the formation of “wire” during sharpening. The steel has a high chromium content of 20.0% (Cr) and carbon content of 2.7% (C) and vanadium 7.2% (V), with molybdenum 1.0% (Mo), tungsten 0.7% (W). Designed to provide better strength compared to M390, launched in 2019. M398 contains more carbon and vanadium, making it a very hard 60-62 HRC steel. Manufactured by Böhler Edelstahl in Kapfenberg, Austria.

Reeve Integral Lock - (R.I.L.) reinforced, monolithic Frame-Lock type blade lock . One of the grips acts as the locking mechanism.

Blade - made of M398 powder steel, considered one of the most technologically advanced tool steels available in premium knives. Its main advantages are exceptional edge durability and resistance to wear, even under heavy use. Combined with a hollow grind and profiled drop point line, the Blade offers excellent cutting properties with minimal resistance. The satin finish emphasizes the elegant character of the blade and masks minor signs of use. The Round Hole™ opening system allows the knife to be smoothly unfolded with one hand, which, when combined with the Reeve Integral Lock, guarantees stability and secure operation. It's a small, but fully functional blade that surprises with its precision and refinement. The knife can also be opened with a removable ReF flipper.

ReF - (Removable Flipper System) located on the underside of the blade, the protrusion / flipper fin makes it easy to open the blade with one hand. It consists of a small lever (protrusion) that extends beyond the back of the Handle when the Blade is closed. In the open position, the protrusion acts as a crossguard, protecting the hand from slipping on the blade. The Removable Flipper System levercan be unscrewed in the folder.

Handle - a harmonious combination of Canvas Micarta composite and titanium, which offers not only visual contrast, but also real utility value. The green Micarta grip brings lightness, texture and a natural look, while the titanium side - integrated with the R.I.L. lock - is responsible for rigidity and mechanical safety. Handle design supports comfortable handling of the knife in everyday tasks, despite its small size. Gently rounded edges, ergonomic shape and open design facilitate both grip and cleaning. Thewire clip in the tip-up position, designed for right-handed users, provides a discreet and secure hold. This is a miniature tool with full-size precision, created for the most demanding collectors and EDC users.
