3Cr13MoV is a martensitic chrome steel that has been enriched with molybdenum (Mo) and vanadium (V) to improve its performance. The typical chemical composition includes approximately 0.26-0.35% carbon (C), 12.5-14.5% chromium (Cr), 0.4-0.6% molybdenum (Mo), and 0.1-0.2% vanadium (V). The addition of chromium provides corrosion resistance, while molybdenum increases hardenability, high-temperature strength, and resistance to pitting corrosion.
