Martinez Albainox Eagle Hunting Knife Zebra Wood, Satin 3Cr13MoV (25079GR621)
- Eagle Zabra Wood, Satin – a classic EDC folding knife with a 3Cr13MoV stainless steel blade and a zebrawood handle. Elegance, simplicity, and reliability in everyday urban and outdoor use.

Eagle Zebra Wood, Satin is a classic folder from Martinez Albainox, designed for everyday tasks where functionality, convenience and aesthetics matter. Thanks to the use of 3Cr13MoV stainless steel, the blade retains good corrosion resistance and sharpens easily, making this model a practical tool for routine tasks. The drop point profile and full flat grind enhance cutting control, proving suitable for both technical and recreational use. Blade's satin finish gives it a subtle, neutral character and effectively masks traces of use. The natural zebrawood handle provides a classic look and comfortable grip. The liner lock mechanism guarantees secure locking of the blade in the open position. A small place for the cord allows you to attach the knife to your equipment. This is a model for those looking for a compact, durable folder with a timeless look and proven design.
3Cr13MoV is a martensitic chromium steel that has been enriched with molybdenum (Mo) and vanadium (V) to improve its performance properties. The typical chemical composition includes about 0.26-0.35% carbon (C), 12.5-14.5% chromium (Cr), 0.4-0.6% molybdenum (Mo) and 0.1-0.2% vanadium (V). The addition of chromium provides corrosion resistance, while molybdenum increases hardenability, high-temperature strength and resistance to pitting corrosion. Vanadium contributes to the hardness, wear resistance and fine grain structure of the steel. 3Cr13MoV is used for knives (often found in folding knives and hunting knives), medical tools and other applications where a good combination of corrosion resistance, hardness and strength is required. It is an improved version of 3Cr13 steel, offering better sharpness retention and overall durability.
Blade - made of 3Cr13MoV stainless steel, known for its resistance to moisture and ease of sharpening - making the knife a practical choice for everyday use. The drop point profile provides versatility and precision, while the full flat grind increases cutting efficiency and smoothness. The satin finish reduces light reflections and reduces the visibility of fine scratches. The blade is opened with a nail nick, a milled recess in the wedge. The liner lock mechanism stabilizes the blade when opened, improving safety for use in the field or during household chores. Blade has been optimized for a balance between aesthetics and everyday functionality.
Handle - made of natural zebrawood, known for its distinctive, contrasting grain and durability, perfectly matched with stamina bolsters. The smooth surface and gentle finger molding provide a comfortable, stable grip, even with prolonged use. The grips are set on a steel frame, which increases the rigidity of the construction and translates into the overall durability of the knife. The wood has been decorated with a stylized graphic of an eagle's head. At the end there is a place for a cord. The model is devoid of a clip, which emphasizes its classic, minimalist character and focus on simplicity of use. The handle forms a coherent whole with the Blade, creating an elegant and practical EDC tool with a timeless form.
