This product is intended for use only by adults with knowledge and experience in handling sharp cutting tools. Improper use of the knife can result in serious injuries. The blade is extremely sharp and can easily cut through skin and tissue; therefore, extra caution should always be exercised while cutting, and hands should be kept away from the cutting edge. To prevent the knife from slipping, it is recommended to cut on a stable, non-slip surface and avoid excessive force, which may cause uncontrolled blade movement.
Leaving the knife on the edge of a table, countertop, or in easily accessible places—especially where children are present—poses a significant safety risk. The knife should always be properly secured after use, ideally by placing it on a stable surface or storing it in designated knife blocks, protective sheaths, or magnetic strips. The knife should never be used for tasks it is not designed for, such as opening cans or prying objects, as this can damage the tool and lead to dangerous accidents.
A dull blade increases the risk of injury, as it requires more force and is more likely to slip from the material being cut. Therefore, it is essential to sharpen the knife regularly to maintain optimal sharpness. Additionally, proper cleaning and drying of the knife are necessary to prevent corrosion and bacterial growth. Periodic inspection of the handle and blade is recommended to check for cracks, chips, or looseness. If any damage is detected, the knife should be repaired or replaced immediately.
When using the knife, focus solely on the task at hand—avoid talking on the phone, watching television, or other distractions while cutting. Ensure proper lighting in the workspace for better visibility and control. Please note that some countries or regions have laws restricting the ownership and carrying of knives. Before purchasing or using this knife, verify that its use is legal in your location according to applicable regulations.
Following these safety guidelines will help ensure safe and effective knife use, minimizing the risk of accidents and extending the lifespan of the tool.
Tissot 1-B Black-Gray Titanium, Satin by Rike Knife is an advanced EDC folder combining technical sophistication with the elegance of raw minimalism. The construction uses a precisely machined 6AL4V titanium frame with a detachable integral handle shell, giving the knife both an original design and high structural rigidity. The model was created for users who expect modern styling, premium materials, and precise workmanship. At the heart of the design is a Böhler M390 steel blade, offering excellent edge retention and corrosion resistance – essential qualities in an everyday carry knife. Its Drop Point profile provides excellent versatility, while the Satin finish gives the blade a refined, technical appearance. The screwless handle, made of two titanium sections that can be separated by releasing the locking catch, is shaped to provide a stable and comfortable grip in different positions. The Liner Lock mechanism with a hardened insert increases safety during use, while the deep-carry clip allows low-profile carry. The design is completed by a distinctive watch-inspired pivot screw, emphasizing the technical aesthetics of the model.
Rike Knife – an independent brand founded by long-time knife enthusiast Richard Wu. With a background in mechanical design and manufacturing, he continuously strives for excellence and precision, supported by a professional design team and the company’s own independent factory. RikeKnife is a distinctive brand built around original design, with the ambition to innovate and challenge traditional solutions used by modern knife manufacturers. The company uses only high-quality materials to produce premium knives for customers around the world. Having earned a strong reputation in the knife industry, the brand focuses on excellent workmanship and an innovative approach to design. This has also been recognized by the legendary American brand Microtech, which for the first time in its history outsourced the production of its own designs outside the United States – to the Chinese company RikeKnife. These products include the SOCOM Bravo and Anax folders, as well as the Kyroh Pen tactical pens.
M390 – a high-performance martensitic chromium steel produced using powder metallurgy technology. Due to its alloy composition, it offers exceptionally high wear resistance and excellent corrosion resistance. Its outstanding wear resistance allows the cutting edge to retain its shape for a very long time, resulting in excellent edge retention with minimal maintenance. Another advantage is its resistance to burr formation during sharpening. This steel contains approximately 20.0% chromium (Cr), 1.9% carbon (C) and 4.0% vanadium (V), and is hardened to approximately 59–61 HRC. This premium steel is comparable to CPM 20CV and Carpenter CTS-204P. It is manufactured by Böhler Edelstahl in Kapfenberg, Austria.
Blade – the Drop Point blade is made of powder-metallurgy Böhler M390 steel, valued for its high wear resistance, corrosion resistance, and excellent edge retention. The Hollow Grind provides very good cutting performance, while the Belt Satin finish gives the blade an elegant, technical appearance. A Thumb Stud allows convenient manual opening, while the bearing pivot mechanism ensures smooth blade action. The blade is securely locked in position by a Liner Lock.
Handle – the rigid and lightweight 6AL4V titanium construction is precisely machined, creating a combination of rounded edges and carefully profiled surfaces that improve grip security. The innovative construction with a removable backspacer provides high rigidity and durability while also making it easier to access the interior of the knife for cleaning. Asymmetrical chamfers improve ergonomics regardless of the grip style. The deep-carry clip allows comfortable and discreet carry. The distinctive watch-inspired pivot screw is one of the model’s most recognizable details, emphasizing its technical yet refined character.
Pouch – the knife is supplied in a soft nylon zippered pouch with the brand logo, designed for safe transport and storage of the folder.
