Vesta Sentinel .50 cal - 17J Pistol

Vesta Sentinel 17 J is a semi-automatic RAM air pistol (Real Action Marker) from Vesta Defence, available without a permit. The pistol fires rubber balls, rubber-metal balls, polymer balls, marking balls, and pepper balls in .50 caliber and is powered by a 12 g CO₂ cartridge.

The Sentinel is based on the proven Vesta PDW50 platform, featuring the same semi-automatic action, 6-round magazine, and quick-piercing CO₂ system. What sets the Sentinel apart is its extended threaded barrel, which allows quick installation of a dedicated barrel extension designed to increase muzzle energy.

The integrated 6-round magazine can be quickly reloaded using an optional speedloader mounted on the accessory rail. The metal frame is covered with durable polymer resistant to mechanical damage and weather conditions. Operational safety is further enhanced by a trigger safety similar to the system commonly found on Glock pistols.

CO₂ Power System with Quick-Piercing Cartridge Mechanism

The pistol is powered by a single 12 g CO₂ cartridge housed inside the grip. The integrated quick-piercing cartridge system allows the pistol to be stored with a CO₂ cartridge installed without piercing it in advance. The cartridge is pierced only after striking the reservoir cap. A piercing status indicator located at the rear of the cartridge cap shows whether the pistol is ready to fire.

The Vesta Sentinel uses a semi-automatic Double Action mechanism, meaning each subsequent shot is fired simply by pulling the trigger. No manual cycling or cocking of the hammer is required.

Extended Threaded Barrel

A distinguishing feature of the Vesta Sentinel is its extended threaded barrel. This design enables quick and convenient installation of a dedicated barrel extension capable of increasing the system's muzzle energy. The threaded mounting system makes installation straightforward and eliminates the need for complex modifications to the pistol.

Comfortable Textured Grip

The pistol's metal frame is covered with rugged polymer resistant to weather exposure and mechanical damage. The enlarged trigger guard provides comfortable operation even when wearing gloves, while the textured grip surface delivers a secure, stable hold during dynamic shooting.

The pistol is equipped with fixed sights. Both the front and rear sights feature fluorescent glow-in-the-dark dots that make aiming easier in low-light conditions.

A 22 mm accessory rail beneath the barrel allows installation of a tactical flashlight, laser sight, optional speedloader that doubles the readily available ammunition capacity, as well as other compatible accessories.

6-Round Magazine and Optional Speedloader

The Vesta Sentinel features a magazine positioned beneath the barrel with a capacity of 6 .50-caliber balls. The design accommodates a wide range of ammunition, including rubber, rubber-metal, pepper, marking, and polymer balls. Its broad ammunition compatibility makes the pistol suitable for shooting practice and recreational use.

The optional Vesta Defence Flashloader holds an additional 6 balls and mounts to the Picatinny rail beneath the barrel. It enables rapid magazine reloading, providing immediate access to another full load of ammunition.
