Warning and Safety Information for the KnifeMore

This product is intended for use only by adults with knowledge and experience in handling sharp cutting tools. Improper use of the knife can result in serious injuries. The blade is extremely sharp and can easily cut through skin and tissue; therefore, extra caution should always be exercised while cutting, and hands should be kept away from the cutting edge. To prevent the knife from slipping, it is recommended to cut on a stable, non-slip surface and avoid excessive force, which may cause uncontrolled blade movement.

Leaving the knife on the edge of a table, countertop, or in easily accessible places—especially where children are present—poses a significant safety risk. The knife should always be properly secured after use, ideally by placing it on a stable surface or storing it in designated knife blocks, protective sheaths, or magnetic strips. The knife should never be used for tasks it is not designed for, such as opening cans or prying objects, as this can damage the tool and lead to dangerous accidents.

A dull blade increases the risk of injury, as it requires more force and is more likely to slip from the material being cut. Therefore, it is essential to sharpen the knife regularly to maintain optimal sharpness. Additionally, proper cleaning and drying of the knife are necessary to prevent corrosion and bacterial growth. Periodic inspection of the handle and blade is recommended to check for cracks, chips, or looseness. If any damage is detected, the knife should be repaired or replaced immediately.

When using the knife, focus solely on the task at hand—avoid talking on the phone, watching television, or other distractions while cutting. Ensure proper lighting in the workspace for better visibility and control. Please note that some countries or regions have laws restricting the ownership and carrying of knives. Before purchasing or using this knife, verify that its use is legal in your location according to applicable regulations.

Following these safety guidelines will help ensure safe and effective knife use, minimizing the risk of accidents and extending the lifespan of the tool.

Biophase Green Aluminum, Satin, is a modern interpretation of an EDC folder, where technical aesthetics meet functional minimalism. The Civivi brand - known for its quality craftsmanship and innovative approach to knife design - presents a tool that catches the eye with its bold design, while meeting the demands of everyday use. The openwork handle made of anodized aluminum stands out not only for its low weight, but also for its distinctive design inspired by biomechanics. Its ergonomic shape provides natural hand positioning and high comfort, even in a prolonged use session. The button lock system allows you to instantly open and close the blade in complete safety, and the deep finger cutout increases control and grip confidence. Blade is made of Nitro-V, a stainless steel specially developed for high sharpness retention and corrosion resistance in a utility environment. The clip point profile combined with a flat grind offers precise cutting and smooth penetration of material. Opening is by means of a flipper, which combined with ball bearings provides a fast, noiseless and smooth action. Biophase is a folder for those who appreciate original design, thoughtful ergonomics and reliability of mechanics. Thanks to the precise fit of the components, symmetrical design and the ability to carry both right- and left-handed, this model becomes a versatile companion for everyday tasks - from urban EDC to off-road applications.

Civivi - a sub-brand of WE Knife, a company that produces knives of the highest global quality. Production takes place on the same production lines as WE, so the highest standard of assembly is maintained.

Nitro-V stainless chrome-based martensitic knife steel introduced by New Jersey Steel Baron(NJSB). The manufacturer used the existing superior AEB-L knife steel and upgraded it with nitrogen and vanadium to improve edge performance and achieve high hardness and extreme corrosion resistance, especially crucial in the marine industry and humid environments. Nitro V can be used in diving knives because of its resistance to staining and corrosion. The recommended working hardness is between 58-62HRC, and it has very good impact strength compared to other steels. It is harder than stainless powder steels such as M390, Elmax and S35VN. Therefore, Nitro-V will be a good fit for knives that require good toughness.

Blade - Clip Point type with a gently marked belly, finished in elegant satin. The small thickness of the blade, combined with the concave grind (Hollow Grind), gives excellent cutting edge geometry and extreme cutting performance. The long false blade enhances the Blade's penetrating properties. Ceramic ball bearings support the smooth operation of the blade's opening mechanism, which can be opened with a quick index-finger flipper, a hole in the blade (thumb hole) or by gravity. When opened, the flipper forms a mini-Guard to prevent the hand from slipping on the blade. On the back of the upper jimping wedge, a notched thumb rest. The entire blade is locked with a solid button lock. Under the lock button there is a resisting spring, which prevents accidental release of the lock.

Handle - from aluminum, with a skeletonized design. This gives the fingers plenty of support points for a secure grip. The fore finger groove made at the front improves ergonomics. The open-backed design fixed with steel spacer sleeves reduces weight and makes cleaning easier. The simple, secure design gives assurance of many years of use. Thanks to all these design measures, the full-size folder reaches a staggering 80g in weight. The pivot axis is adorned with a stylized Civivi brand logo. The two-position (right/left), deep-carry clip allows you to carry the knife discreetly in your pocket in tip-up position (blade tip up).

Case - the knife is packed in a zippered soft nylon case with the brand's logo. It is used for safe storage and transportation of the folder.
