CJH Outdoor Chef's Knife Walnut Wood, Satin is a design that brings the functionality of kitchen knives into the world of folders. Instead of a classic fixed blade, you get a folding model - easy to pack, safe to transport and ready to go wherever you prepare meals: camping, gardening, grilling or on a field trip. The two blades are made of 1.4116 steel, one is shaped in a drop point profile with a flat grind, which translates into controlled, smooth slicing of food products. The blade's geometry is conducive to working on a board - whether portioning vegetables or handling meat or fish. The second blade includes a vegetable peeler and a fish cleaning ball. The satin finish gives the blade a clean, professional look and blends well with the natural wood of the Handle. Walnut wood grips introduce a warm, traditional touch typical of classic culinary tools. The slipjoint mechanism stabilizes the blade in the open position thanks to a back spring, keeping the design simple. This is a model for people who consider cooking as part of an outdoor lifestyle and want to carry a full-fledged culinary tool in a compact form.

1.4116 (X50CrMoV15) - molybdenum-vanadium high-carbon, martensitic stainless steel, highly resistant to corrosion and wear. Used in the manufacture of knives, high-end cutlery and surgical instruments. It is characterized by a fairly high, for stainless steels, hardness of 57-58 HRC. The chemical composition of the steel is enriched with an admixture of 15.0% Chromium, 0.80% Molybdenum, 0.20% Vanadium.

Blade - the first with a drop point profile was designed with kitchen work in mind. The slightly drooping ridge and pronounced tip make it easy to cut and portion with precision, while the edge line promotes smooth guidance of the blade along the board. The flat grind gives the blade a thin, utilitarian geometry that reduces resistance when slicing. Such a cross-section works well with products ranging from soft vegetables to harder ingredients that require a stable edge. The second Blade includes a vegetable peeler and a ball for cleaning fish from scales. The 1.4116 steel, often used in kitchen knives, is characterized by its resistance to corrosion and ease of sharpness. The satin finish emphasizes the clean lines of the blade and masks minor signs of use well. The slipjoint mechanism holds the blade in the working position, providing control without the use of a locking bolt.
