Warning and Safety Information for the KnifeMore

This product is intended for use only by adults with knowledge and experience in handling sharp cutting tools. Improper use of the knife can result in serious injuries. The blade is extremely sharp and can easily cut through skin and tissue; therefore, extra caution should always be exercised while cutting, and hands should be kept away from the cutting edge. To prevent the knife from slipping, it is recommended to cut on a stable, non-slip surface and avoid excessive force, which may cause uncontrolled blade movement.

Leaving the knife on the edge of a table, countertop, or in easily accessible places—especially where children are present—poses a significant safety risk. The knife should always be properly secured after use, ideally by placing it on a stable surface or storing it in designated knife blocks, protective sheaths, or magnetic strips. The knife should never be used for tasks it is not designed for, such as opening cans or prying objects, as this can damage the tool and lead to dangerous accidents.

A dull blade increases the risk of injury, as it requires more force and is more likely to slip from the material being cut. Therefore, it is essential to sharpen the knife regularly to maintain optimal sharpness. Additionally, proper cleaning and drying of the knife are necessary to prevent corrosion and bacterial growth. Periodic inspection of the handle and blade is recommended to check for cracks, chips, or looseness. If any damage is detected, the knife should be repaired or replaced immediately.

When using the knife, focus solely on the task at hand—avoid talking on the phone, watching television, or other distractions while cutting. Ensure proper lighting in the workspace for better visibility and control. Please note that some countries or regions have laws restricting the ownership and carrying of knives. Before purchasing or using this knife, verify that its use is legal in your location according to applicable regulations.

Following these safety guidelines will help ensure safe and effective knife use, minimizing the risk of accidents and extending the lifespan of the tool.

XinCore 8.5" Chef White G10, Black TiN is one of the most recognizable designs in the Xin Cutlery lineup and represents a conscious combination of utilitarian design and the real-world demands of intensive kitchen work. The XinCore series was designed as a line of knives in which aesthetics are subordinated to function, and form acts as a tool to communicate readiness for a demanding environment. It's an approach close to the philosophy of kitchens treated as workspaces, where control, repetitive movements and resilient design matter. The designer is Ostap Hel, known for his consistent approach to ergonomics and technical, clear geometry. The silhouette of the knife is resolute, with a clear separation of the working and grip zones, reinforcing its tool-like character. Blade made of Sandvik 14C28N steel was selected for intensive kitchen use, offering good corrosion resistance, edge stability and ease of sharpness maintenance. The chef profile provides high versatility and allows efficient performance of both high-speed linear cuts and rocking work. The flat grind used creates a flat, predictable geometry that is conducive to blade control and even guidance during dynamic movements. The titanium nitride-based coating gives the Blade a distinctly technical, almost tactical character, while increasing surface resistance and reducing product adhesion. The G10 composite Handle is designed as a component for maximum control under intense use. Its ergonomic profile supports natural hand positioning and allows for a secure grip even with wet hands or prolonged use. Carefully engineered surfaces and clear grip lines promote maneuverability and quick blade response to hand movements. The XinCore XC125 is a tool for users who treat the kitchen like a working environment - dynamic, demanding and with no room for randomness. It's a knife designed to work continuously, resiliently and in full subordination to function.

Ostap Hel - a talented Polish knifemaker and designer. His designs are based on the fundamentals of geometry, smooth transitions and the concept of “golden proportion.” He is not afraid to experiment with new shapes and ideas to suit the unique style and production capabilities of the company he designs for.

14C28N - a martensitic chromium stainless steel - is the latest development in the range of knife steels produced by Sandvik's Swedish mills. An optimized chemical composition with a unique combination provides superior quality, excellent edge performance, high hardness and corrosion resistance. By reducing the amount of carbon 0.62% (C) and increasing the chromium content 14.0% (Cr), as well as adding nitrogen 0.11% (N), corrosion resistance has been significantly improved. Considered an improved version of 13C26 steel. Unbeatable in the price / quality category!

Blade - with chef profile designed as a working blade for intensive kitchen use. The pronounced belly of the cutting edge supports smooth rocking motions and fast working speed, while the stable ridge line ensures control when working under pressure. The flat grind used guarantees a flat, clear geometry that promotes efficient cutting and predictable blade behavior during dynamic changes in direction of movement. The Black TiN coating gives the surface a uniform, matte texture with a distinctly technical character, increasing wear resistance and making it easier to keep the Blade clean during use. The overall design has been developed with an emphasis on edge stability, smooth cutting and high control under heavy use.

Handle - made of G10 composite provides high resistance to moisture, temperature changes and intensive use, maintaining rigidity and grip in demanding kitchen conditions. Handle profile is designed to guide the hand in the natural axis of the blade, improving precision and safety of work. Carefully designed curves and appropriate surface texture reduce slippage and reduce hand fatigue during long slicing sessions. The balance between the Handle and Blade promotes stable, predictable knife handling, making the handle durable, functional and fully subservient to the utility role of the tool.
