The design is intended as a compact working knife with a clear utility purpose - for precise tasks in the field, in tactical environments and during daily operations, where full predictability of blade behavior counts. The compact size allows for comfortable carrying, while the raw form and solid geometry of the blade emphasize the working nature of the design. At the heart of the model is a blade with a drop point profile , made of CPM 3V steel known for its very high impact strength and working edge stability. Its asymmetrical cut in the bevels has a relieving and utilitarian function , supporting the precision of blade handling. The tumbled finish reduces light reflections, effectively masks traces of use and emphasizes the utilitarian nature of the tool. CPM 3V - a wear-resistant tool steel with high hardness. Produced by US Crucible Industries using the particle metallurgy / Crucible Particle Metallurgy(CPM) method. The CPM process creates a highly homogeneous, high-quality steel with excellent dimensional stability, grindability and ductility compared to steels produced by conventional methods. Designed to provide maximum fracture and chipping resistance in high wear resistance steels. It offers impact resistance greater than A2, D2, Cru-Wear or CPM M4 , approaching the levels provided by S7 and other impact-resistant grades. CPM 3V is hardened to 61-63 HRC for applications where chronic cracking and chipping is found in other tool steels, but where the abrasive properties of high-alloy steel are required.
