733,46 €This product is intended for use only by adults with knowledge and experience in handling sharp cutting tools. Improper use of the knife can result in serious injuries. The blade is extremely sharp and can easily cut through skin and tissue; therefore, extra caution should always be exercised while cutting, and hands should be kept away from the cutting edge. To prevent the knife from slipping, it is recommended to cut on a stable, non-slip surface and avoid excessive force, which may cause uncontrolled blade movement.
Leaving the knife on the edge of a table, countertop, or in easily accessible places—especially where children are present—poses a significant safety risk. The knife should always be properly secured after use, ideally by placing it on a stable surface or storing it in designated knife blocks, protective sheaths, or magnetic strips. The knife should never be used for tasks it is not designed for, such as opening cans or prying objects, as this can damage the tool and lead to dangerous accidents.
A dull blade increases the risk of injury, as it requires more force and is more likely to slip from the material being cut. Therefore, it is essential to sharpen the knife regularly to maintain optimal sharpness. Additionally, proper cleaning and drying of the knife are necessary to prevent corrosion and bacterial growth. Periodic inspection of the handle and blade is recommended to check for cracks, chips, or looseness. If any damage is detected, the knife should be repaired or replaced immediately.
When using the knife, focus solely on the task at hand—avoid talking on the phone, watching television, or other distractions while cutting. Ensure proper lighting in the workspace for better visibility and control. Please note that some countries or regions have laws restricting the ownership and carrying of knives. Before purchasing or using this knife, verify that its use is legal in your location according to applicable regulations.
Following these safety guidelines will help ensure safe and effective knife use, minimizing the risk of accidents and extending the lifespan of the tool.
Arbiter S/E Signature Outbreak G10, Outbreak is one of the largest fixed-blade knives in the Microtech lineup, a company known for producing high-quality cutting tools. This model stands out with its unique green Outbreak finish with red, irregular blood splatter accents, as well as a deeply engraved Biohazard symbol, the signature mark of this series.
Signature Series - an elite line of Microtech products designed for buyers who are looking for a more exclusive touch to the much-loved Core Series production models (logo with claws on the knife). The highest quality materials and finishes are often used in the production of Signature Series knives. The line also includes themed knives such as Bounty Hunter, Outbreak, Memento Mori and Molon Labe.
M390MK - a collaboration between Microtech and Böhler engineers resulted in an exclusive version of M390 steel made only for Microtech. The carbon content has been increased and subjected to closer scrutiny thus improving the properties of M390 steel for better edge retention, corrosion resistance and polishing. Martensitic high-performance chromium steel produced by powder metallurgy. Due to its alloy concept, it has extremely high wear resistance and high corrosion resistance. Due to its high wear resistance, it adequately maintains the shape of the edge, so the blade stays sharp for a very long time (requiring minimal maintenance). Another of the advantages is resistance to the formation of “wire” during sharpening. The steel has a high chromium content of 19.0% (Cr) doped with 1.95% carbon (C), vanadium 4.0% (V), and is hardened between 59-61 HRC. This super steel is comparable to Carpenter's CPM 20CV or CTS-204P steels. Manufactured by Böhler Edelstahl in Kapfenberg, Austria.
Blade - a long, machine-ground S/E (Single Edge) blade with a Clip Point / Bowie profile, covered with a striking Outbreak finish. Red, irregular spots showing through the green, worn-looking surface give the knife a raw, apocalyptic appearance. The same finish has also been applied to the handle. The blade features a deeply engraved Biohazard symbol, which is the signature mark of the Outbreak series. Despite the substantial blade thickness, the Flat Grind provides very good cutting performance combined with high durability. A large choil at the beginning of the cutting edge allows comfortable finger placement for a precise grip. The blade also features the Microtech logo, serial number, and production date. The long false edge, combined with the knife’s weight, emphasizes the combat character of the design and enhances the functionality of the Bowie profile. The spine of the blade features finger jimping for improved control during use.
Handle - profiled with finger notches. Grips made of G10 composite attached directly to the blade with proprietary Microtech screws. This is the simplest and most secure design that ensures the practical indestructibility of the knife. The advantage of G10 is the extraordinary strength of the material combined with almost complete insensitivity to weather conditions. Handle covered along its entire length with notches (jimping) which strengthens the certainty of the grip and control over the knife while working. The protruding section of the tango can be used as a glass breaker, and also includes a lanyard hole , a hole for a belaying or decorative rope.
Sheath - made of carbon fiber laminated kydex, provides a secure hold on the knife in any position. The M.O.L.L.E. type attachment to the belt or to the equipment's shoulder stock allows the knife to be carried vertically or horizontally.
