422,55 €This product is intended for use only by adults with knowledge and experience in handling sharp cutting tools. Improper use of the knife can result in serious injuries. The blade is extremely sharp and can easily cut through skin and tissue; therefore, extra caution should always be exercised while cutting, and hands should be kept away from the cutting edge. To prevent the knife from slipping, it is recommended to cut on a stable, non-slip surface and avoid excessive force, which may cause uncontrolled blade movement.
Leaving the knife on the edge of a table, countertop, or in easily accessible places—especially where children are present—poses a significant safety risk. The knife should always be properly secured after use, ideally by placing it on a stable surface or storing it in designated knife blocks, protective sheaths, or magnetic strips. The knife should never be used for tasks it is not designed for, such as opening cans or prying objects, as this can damage the tool and lead to dangerous accidents.
A dull blade increases the risk of injury, as it requires more force and is more likely to slip from the material being cut. Therefore, it is essential to sharpen the knife regularly to maintain optimal sharpness. Additionally, proper cleaning and drying of the knife are necessary to prevent corrosion and bacterial growth. Periodic inspection of the handle and blade is recommended to check for cracks, chips, or looseness. If any damage is detected, the knife should be repaired or replaced immediately.
When using the knife, focus solely on the task at hand—avoid talking on the phone, watching television, or other distractions while cutting. Ensure proper lighting in the workspace for better visibility and control. Please note that some countries or regions have laws restricting the ownership and carrying of knives. Before purchasing or using this knife, verify that its use is legal in your location according to applicable regulations.
Following these safety guidelines will help ensure safe and effective knife use, minimizing the risk of accidents and extending the lifespan of the tool.
Sethlans Outdoor Green G10, Stonewashed is a development of the highly regarded bushcraft construction designed by Daniele Dal Canto, a professional instructor of survival techniques with the title of Master Advanced in F.I.S.S.S. (Italian Federation of Sports and Experimental Survival), as a tool for systematic, long-term work in the field. The outdoor version implements the manufacturer's philosophy: reduce unnecessary elements, leaving only those that realistically increase the functionality and durability of the design. It's a knife designed for work with wood, rope, natural materials and camp tasks, where control, durability and predictable performance are crucial. Blade made of BÖHLER S600 steel with a drop point profile , which in bushcraft applications provides a balance between tip strength and blade handling control. The flat grind used promotes efficient cutting and good material penetration while maintaining structural stability. The stonewashed finish reduces the visibility of use marks and increases surface tolerance to contact with moisture and dirt, which is important in outdoor environments. The full tang construction ensures structural continuity and high mechanical resistance under heavy use. G10 composite grips are designed for a stable grip even with wet or tired hands. The removable design allows for cleaning, maintenance and alternative use configurations. Complementing the Outdoor version is a contrasting high-visibility paracord cord and a lightweight water-resistant plastic sheath suitable for modular attachment systems. The Sethlans S600 Outdoor is a field tool with an unambiguously utilitarian character - designed for repetitive, demanding and long-lasting work, without compromising on durability.
S600 - a type of steel you don't often encounter! A high-speed steel with high molybdenum, tungsten and good vanadium content, providing excellent properties in terms of hardness, wear resistance and strength. The presence of cobalt promotes the formation of small, evenly spaced carbides for increased wear resistance. S600 is hardened and cryogenically treated to achieve an exceptional hardness of 64 HRC. This gives high wear resistance and retains sharpness well. Manufactured at the Böhler-Uddeholm steelworks in Austria.
Blade - with drop point profile , designed for versatility in bushcraft and survival applications. The lowered back line towards the tip improves control during precision work, such as kindling preparation, notching or working with wooden details. This geometry layout provides a reinforced tip structure and predictable blade guidance. The flat grind used offers good material penetration and cutting smoothness, while maintaining an adequate stock in the Blade's axis for increased resistance to side loading. The stonewashed finish was chosen for heavy field use - the surface is less prone to visible scratches and easier to maintain. Blade back is equipped with a distinct milling(jimping), which increases control when working with thumb pressure.
Handle - made of G10 composite was developed in accordance with Extrema Ratio's characteristic functional ergonomics - without decorative elements, with emphasis on grip security and handling stability. The grip profile supports natural hand positioning during continuous use, and the textured surface improves grip in wet or dirty conditions. Full tang construction guarantees mechanical continuity and resistance to overloading. Removable grips allow cleaning and personalization, including minimalist paracord wrapping of the Handle grips. The back features a massive cord hole with contrasting paracord, making it easier to find the tool in the field. The lightweight water-resistant plastic sheath is designed for outdoor use and does not absorb moisture. The modular design increases the flexibility of the carry, allowing you to tailor the configuration to fit your off-road scenario. The Sethlans S600 Outdoor remains a no-compromise tool - designed for real-world work where control, ruggedness and repeatable performance are key.
