- Civet Black G10, Beadblasted by Maksim Epifantsev, is a compact knife with a fixed blade and full-tang construction, ideal for EDC and outdoor use. A drop-point blade of 1428N steel with a flat grind, G10 scales, and a Kydex sheath with a Tek-Lok mounting
55,98 €Civet Black G10, Beadblasted is a compact fixed-blade knife designed by Maksim Epifantsev for everyday carry, light outdoor use, and utility tasks that demand absolute reliability. At first glance, the model features very clean, technical lines—a slender silhouette, a minimalist handle profile, and a practical Kydex sheath create a tool that fits perfectly into the modern approach to the EDC fixed-blade category. The full tang construction is a key element of the design philosophy. The full tang ensures high rigidity of the entire structure, resistance to lateral loads, and complete reliability in field conditions. This solution is particularly valued by users who prefer fixed-blade knives over folding knives and expect maximum durability. The model features a blade made of 14C28N steel, valued for its excellent corrosion resistance, ease of sharpening, and solid edge retention in everyday use. The drop point profile, combined with a flat grind, gives it an exceptionally versatile character—from precision work, through utility cutting, to light outdoor tasks. The Civet is designed for those seeking a lightweight, discreet premium fixed blade that can accompany the user every day without compromising on durability or ergonomics.
Kubey – an independent brand and one of the largest manufacturers producing high-quality knives at a great price! The company’s motto is “An Edge Above the Rest” / “The blade comes first.” Thanks to the use of high-speed CNC machines, milling machines, laser cutting, and custom hand finishing, the brand focuses on high-quality craftsmanship and an innovative approach to design. Kubey stands for legendary durability and functionality in cutting tools that will serve you for years!
14C28N - martensitic chromium stainless steel is the latest achievement in the range of knife steels produced by the Swedish steelmaker Sandvik. Its optimized chemical composition, featuring a unique combination of elements, ensures the highest quality, excellent edge performance, high hardness, and corrosion resistance. By reducing the carbon content to 0.62% (C) and increasing the chromium content to 14.0% (Cr), as well as adding 0.11% nitrogen (N), corrosion resistance has been significantly improved. Considered an improved version of 13C26 steel. Unbeatable in the price/quality category!
Vacuum & Cryogenic - 14C28N steel undergoes a specialized heat treatment process comprising two key stages. During Vacuum Heat Treatment, the steel is hardened in a vacuum environment, which minimizes oxidation and ensures more uniform metal properties. This process increases the steel’s strength and structural integrity. Cryogenic Treatment: After heating, the steel is rapidly cooled to extremely low temperatures, often below -100°C (-148°F). This transformation converts residual austenite into martensite, significantly increasing hardness, wear resistance, and overall durability. Thanks to these advanced processes, 14C28N steel delivers exceptional performance, offering both razor-sharp edge retention and remarkable blade durability.
Blade - featuring a drop point profile, one of the most versatile utility geometries. The gently sloping spine line leads to a well-controlled tip, ensuring high precision while maintaining adequate tip strength. The flat grind ensures smooth cutting and good blade control. This type of geometry handles everyday materials very well—from cardboard and rope to wood, leather, or light camping tasks. Thanks to the slender blade profile, the model also maintains good material penetration. The beadblasted finish gives the blade a raw, technical look and effectively masks minor signs of daily use. Milling on the spine improves thumb support, which translates to greater control during precision work.
Handle—made of G10 composite, a material long valued in utility designs for its high mechanical strength, resistance to moisture, and dimensional stability. The visible subtle texture and gentle surface profiling improve grip confidence without being overly aggressive. The slender profile, which tapers slightly toward the tip, ensures the knife fits very comfortably in the hand, especially during precise and controlled grips. The design is engineered to provide comfort during both everyday carry and extended field use. The included Kydex sheath equipped with the Tek-Lok system deserves special attention. This solution significantly enhances the model’s functionality—it allows for quick and secure attachment to a belt, gear, or outdoor equipment. The rigid sheath ensures excellent retention of the knife and safe carrying. The whole package makes for an exceptionally practical EDC/outdoor set: a lightweight fixed blade with high durability, modern aesthetics, and excellent portability.
