D2—a high-carbon, high-chromium high-speed tool steel heat-treated to 58–60 HRC. Thanks to its high chromium content of 13.0% (Cr), it offers greater corrosion resistance than most high-carbon steels. A combination of strength, excellent edge retention, and easy sharpening. It is characterized by high wear resistance due to the high carbide content in its microstructure.

PVD (Physical Vapor Deposition) – the surface resistance of the blade and cutting edge has been enhanced using a vacuum deposition method applied to deposit thin layers by condensing the vaporized form of the desired material onto the surface of the workpiece. The coating method involves a purely physical process, such as high-temperature vacuum evaporation followed by condensation. The applied coating has very high hardness, which significantly increases the blade’s resistance to rust and abrasive wear.

Blade—with a drop point profile. The gently sloping spine and clearly defined cutting edge ensure great versatility—from precision cuts to more demanding tasks. This shape performs well in everyday use and offers predictable blade guidance. The flat grind improves cutting efficiency, allowing the blade to sink smoothly into the material. This type of geometry handles cardboard, plastics, tapes, and textiles well, while maintaining adequate blade stiffness. The black PVD coating highlights the clean lines of the blade and gives the knife a technical look. The black surface effectively showcases the grind and the blade’s proportions, reinforcing the premium character of this model. The button lock mechanism enhances user comfort, offering quick and convenient blade release while maintaining smooth operation.
