CPM MagnaCut – a powder-metallurgy stainless steel manufactured using the Crucible® Particle Metallurgy (CPM) process and hardened to a hardness range of 60.5–62.5 HRC. A high content of vanadium (4.0% V), molybdenum (2.0% Mo), and niobium (2.0% Nb) guarantees precision and purity unmatched by more “conventional” steels. Designed and developed specifically for blade production by Larrin Thomas, it meets all the requirements of knife enthusiasts. B-Lock (Crossbar Lock) - a crossbar that moves horizontally in longitudinal slots in the steel side plates of the handle frame. When the knife is opened, the locking bar engages from above onto the rear of the blade, preventing it from moving back. This bar is held in place by two springs. Unlocking occurs by pulling the locking bar backward; its ends are accessible through notches in the side plates of the handle. In the closed position, the bar presses against a cam surface at the rear of the blade, preventing it from opening on its own. The advantages of the B-Lock mechanism include resistance to contamination, practical insensitivity to dynamic loads, ease of operation with both the right and left hand, and smooth operation.

Blade - sheepfoot-style , finished with a matte satin finish. The gently curved cutting edge tapers toward the safe tip of the wide blade. The blade thickness and high, flat grind provide excellent cutting edge geometry and extreme cutting performance. Ceramic ball bearings ensure smooth and seamless operation of the mechanism and assist in opening the blade via a double-sided pin in the blade. On the blade spine, upper jimping, a serrated thumb rest. B-Lock locking mechanism.

Handle - titanium scales, finished with the striking Crystallized method. The so-called open-backed construction reduces weight and facilitates cleaning. The pivot pin is adorned with the company logo. The simple, solid construction ensures many years of reliable use. Pivot adorned with the manufacturer’s stylized logo. Two-position (right/left) steel deep carry clip allows for discreet carrying of the knife in the pocket in the tip-up position (blade tip facing up). Above the clip is a lanyard hole for a safety or decorative cord.
