ESP Easy Lock Triangle 16'' Hardened Expandable Baton, Black (ExBTT-16H-BK BHT-54)

ExBTT-16H-BK BHT-54 is a professional hardened Easy Lock expandable baton with a length of 16" / 410 mm, equipped with a Triangular Ending handle end. The triangular ring reduces the risk of losing the baton during use and prevents it from rolling on smooth surfaces. The set includes a professional swiveling BHT-54 holder, allowing quick draw of the baton and its automatic deployment during removal. The holder with UBC-05 mount is equipped with the Quick Change System, allowing quick release of the holder from the mount.

Easy Lock sets a new standard in expandable baton locking system. The classic Friction Lock baton is opened with a forceful wrist movement. A model with the Easy Lock system, however, can be deployed in two ways: traditionally, with a swing, or discreetly by pulling the tip of the baton. The second method is especially useful in situations where discretion is important or when conditions do not allow for a full swing. The baton can be closed with one hand simply release the Easy Lock mechanism by pressing the button located at the end of the handle, then rest the tip against a stable surface and collapse the baton.

Handle - type H (Anti-slip), black, with a rough surface that reduces the risk of the baton being pulled out of the hand. Made from hypoallergenic, non-slip synthetic rubber, it fits comfortably in the hand, providing a secure and comfortable grip. The durable connection between the knurled grip and the telescopic baton construction increases the strength of the handle and allows confident control of the tool.

BHT-54 Holder - equipped with a dual baton draw system. The first, standard option allows the baton to be drawn in the closed position. The second option enables automatic extension of the telescopic tubes during removal. The tip of the baton remains caught in the holder’s retaining base, causing the baton to extend automatically. As a result, the baton is already fully extended when removed from the holder, saving valuable time in a critical situation. If this method of extending the baton is not needed, the retaining base can be removed from the bottom of the holder by unscrewing the two screws on the back. Proper positioning of the holder increases carrying comfort and allows quick baton draw in an emergency situation. The baton can be carried in the holder vertically, horizontally, or at any angle, according to the user’s preference.

UBC-05-A is a slide-on belt mount with the Quick Change System. It allows quick release of the mount from the BHT-54 holder attachment in order to replace the holder with any other compatible holder, e.g. for a flashlight or pepper spray, equipped with the Quick Change System mechanism. The mount fits belts 38–56 mm wide, and after removing the adjustment insert, it can fit belts up to 68 mm wide, such as a police / duty belt. The patented design allows the attached equipment to rotate a full 360° in one of 16 defined positions.

Steel - durable Cro-Mo 4130 alloy steel, containing chromium and molybdenum, resistant to high tensile, bending, and breaking loads. Cold drawn seamless tubes, class CSN 12 060 (Czech standard) = CK55 (DIN 17200) = C55E (EN 10083-1+A1). Hardness - the steel components of the baton have been hardened to 40–50 HRC, ensuring that the seamless tubes used in the construction provide high resistance to deformation during intensive use.

Coating - the metal components of the baton are covered with a black nickel-zinc (Ni-Zn) layer, characterized by high abrasion resistance.

Important! Applies to a new expandable baton. Due to the precise fit of the seamless tubes, a new baton may offer resistance during the first closing. To ensure proper operation, we recommend extending and closing the baton several times without using excessive force.
