154CM - high-quality stainless tool steel used in the production of knives and other cutting tools. A premium-grade steel that offers excellent edge retention, strength, and corrosion resistance. Developed by US Crucible Industries, which specializes in the production of alloys for industrial applications. It contains a combination of carbon, chromium, molybdenum, and vanadium, which give it its unique properties. The name “154CM” refers to 1.54% carbon and the inclusion of chromium (Cr) and molybdenum (Mo). It is often compared to other premium steels, such as S30V, S35VN, and CPM 20CV. Knives made from 154CM steel are valued by both enthusiasts and professionals for their excellent performance and durability.
Blade - drop point style, finished with a matted finish. The long cutting edge tapers toward the needle-sharp tip of the knife. The blade thickness and high, flat grind provide excellent cutting edge geometry and extreme cutting performance. Ceramic ball bearings assist in opening the blade via a quick index-finger flipper, which functions as a crossguard once the blade is open. The entire assembly is secured by a modern Liner Lock.
Handle - monolithic, made from a single piece of multi-layered black G10 composite (glass fiber pressed under pressure with synthetic resin) milled with 3D CNC machines, along with a perfectly fitted inlay, also made of G10. This ensures incredible durability, but requires the highest level of skill and precision in production. The beveled edges of the covers and the fore finger groove eliminate sharp edges and improve the ergonomics of the grip. The pivot is adorned with a stylized Rike Knife logo and a blue titanium circle. A two-position (right/left) deep carry clip allows you to discreetly carry the knife in your pocket in the tip-up position (blade tip facing up).
Case - the knife is packaged in a zippered nylon soft pouch with the brand logo for safe carrying and storage of the folder.
