M390 - a high-performance martensitic chromium steel produced using powder metallurgy. Due to its alloy composition, it features exceptionally high wear resistance and high corrosion resistance. Thanks to its high wear resistance, it retains its edge shape well, allowing the blade to stay sharp for a very long time (requires minimal maintenance). Another advantage is its resistance to “wire” formation during sharpening. Steel with a high chromium content of 20.0% (Cr), alloyed with 1.9% carbon (C) and 4.0% vanadium (V), hardened to a hardness range of 59–61 HRC. This super steel is comparable to Carpenter’s CPM 20CV or CTS-204P steels. Manufactured by Böhler Edelstahl in Kapfenberg, Austria.
Blade - clip point style, finished with etching that highlights the damascene patterns.
The wide blade tapers toward a needle-sharp tip. A flat grind is used here, which, combined with the blade’s thickness, ensures excellent cutting performance while maintaining high strength. To improve piercing capability, an unsharpened false edge is machined into the upper portion. Ceramic ball bearings assist in opening the blade using a quick flipper tab. Once open, the tab forms a mini-Guard that prevents the hand from slipping onto the blade. The entire assembly is secured by a modern Frame Lock mechanism with a steel inlay that prevents the lock face from wearing down.
Handle - made of 6AL4V titanium, beautifully machined using CNC machines. The entire assembly is bolted to a solid backspacer made of Timascus material and two copper spacers. This construction ensures outstanding durability and resilience. The ergonomic lines of the handle fit perfectly in almost any hand. The single-position (right-side) deep carry clip allows you to carry the knife discreetly in your pocket in a tip-up position (blade tip pointing upward). The pivot and screws are finished in blue, while the clip and Timascus backspacer beautifully contrast with the gray surface of the handle.
