401,23 €This product is intended for use only by adults with knowledge and experience in handling sharp cutting tools. Improper use of the knife can result in serious injuries. The blade is extremely sharp and can easily cut through skin and tissue; therefore, extra caution should always be exercised while cutting, and hands should be kept away from the cutting edge. To prevent the knife from slipping, it is recommended to cut on a stable, non-slip surface and avoid excessive force, which may cause uncontrolled blade movement.
Leaving the knife on the edge of a table, countertop, or in easily accessible places—especially where children are present—poses a significant safety risk. The knife should always be properly secured after use, ideally by placing it on a stable surface or storing it in designated knife blocks, protective sheaths, or magnetic strips. The knife should never be used for tasks it is not designed for, such as opening cans or prying objects, as this can damage the tool and lead to dangerous accidents.
A dull blade increases the risk of injury, as it requires more force and is more likely to slip from the material being cut. Therefore, it is essential to sharpen the knife regularly to maintain optimal sharpness. Additionally, proper cleaning and drying of the knife are necessary to prevent corrosion and bacterial growth. Periodic inspection of the handle and blade is recommended to check for cracks, chips, or looseness. If any damage is detected, the knife should be repaired or replaced immediately.
When using the knife, focus solely on the task at hand—avoid talking on the phone, watching television, or other distractions while cutting. Ensure proper lighting in the workspace for better visibility and control. Please note that some countries or regions have laws restricting the ownership and carrying of knives. Before purchasing or using this knife, verify that its use is legal in your location according to applicable regulations.
Following these safety guidelines will help ensure safe and effective knife use, minimizing the risk of accidents and extending the lifespan of the tool.
Folgore Verticale Black Forprene, Black LE. Limited Edition knife designed for professional users and collectors seeking an operational-grade tool. The series is limited to just 300 pieces, and the offered knife bears the serial number 047/300.
The model is based on a design developed in collaboration with the Italian “Folgore” Parachute Brigade, and its concept is tailored to the demands of operations where reliability, control, and minimizing unnecessary weight are paramount. At the heart of the design is a Böhler M390 steel blade with a drop point profile, supported by a flat grind geometry, which ensures excellent cutting control and high effectiveness in utility and tactical tasks. The black MIL-C-13924 coating reduces light reflections and enhances the surface’s resistance to wear and tear, while maintaining a low visual profile. The Forprene handle is designed for maximum grip—even when working with gloves and in high-humidity environments. The package is complemented by a modular Kydex sheath with a textile extension and the option to mount it on a belt, MOLLE systems, or a thigh configuration. This is a tool for users who expect operational quality and full control in all conditions.
M390 - a high-performance martensitic chromium steel produced using powder metallurgy. Due to its alloy composition, it features exceptionally high wear resistance and high corrosion resistance. Thanks to its high wear resistance, it retains its edge shape well, allowing the blade to stay sharp for a very long time (requiring minimal maintenance). Another advantage is its resistance to “wire” formation during sharpening. Steel with a high chromium content of 20.0% (Cr), alloyed with 1.9% carbon (C) and 4.0% vanadium (V), hardened to a hardness range of 59–61 HRC. This super steel is comparable to Carpenter’s CPM 20CV or CTS-204P steels. Manufactured by Böhler Edelstahl in Kapfenberg, Austria.
Blade - a drop point profile is used, which provides an excellent balance between tip strength and versatility. The gently lowered spine line with a false edge and the extended cutting edge facilitate both precise work and heavier-duty cutting tasks. The cutting performance is provided by the flat grind geometry, ensuring smooth penetration of the blade into the material and high control over the cutting path. This solution works well across a wide range of applications—from field work to rescue and operational tasks. The spine features pronounced jimping, which improves thumb stability when working under pressure. The surface is coated with a black MIL-C-13924 finish, which reduces light reflection and increases resistance to wear and tear, reinforcing the model’s tactical character.
Handle—made of Forprene—was designed with a focus on immediate grip control and confident handling. This material effectively dampens vibrations, maintains high grip, and performs well both in wet conditions and when worn with tactical gloves. Distinctly marked finger grooves and an extended rear section improve hand stability during dynamic movements. A crossguard is featured at the front, which increases safety and reduces the risk of the hand sliding onto the cutting edge. An integral part of the set is a thermoformed Kydex sheath with a textile extension and paracord, allowing for attachment to a belt, MOLLE systems, plate carriers, and thigh mounts. The serial number No. 47/300 further emphasizes the elite, collector’s nature of this limited edition.
