14C28N - martensitic chromium stainless steel is the latest achievement in the range of knife steels produced by the Swedish steelworks Sandvik. Its optimized chemical composition, featuring a unique combination, ensures the highest quality, excellent edge performance, high hardness, and corrosion resistance. By reducing the carbon content to 0.62% (C) and increasing the chromium content to 14.0% (Cr), as well as adding 0.11% nitrogen (N), corrosion resistance has been significantly improved. Considered an improved version of 13C26 steel. Unbeatable in the price/quality category!

B-Lock (Crossbar Lock) - a crossbar that moves horizontally within longitudinal slots in the steel side plates of the Handle frame. When the knife is opened, the locking bar engages from above with the rear part of the blade, preventing it from moving back. This bar is held in place by two springs. Unlocking occurs by pulling the locking bar backward; its ends are accessible through notches in the handle grips. In the closed position, the bar presses against the cam surface at the rear of the blade, preventing it from opening spontaneously. The advantages of the B-Lock mechanism include resistance to contamination, practical insensitivity to dynamic loads, ease of operation with both the right and left hand, and smooth operation.

PVD (Physical Vapor Deposition) - the surface resistance of the blade and the cutting edge has been increased using a vacuum deposition method applied to deposit thin layers through the condensation of the vaporized form of the desired material onto the surface of the workpiece. The coating method involves a purely physical process, such as high-temperature vacuum evaporation followed by condensation. The applied coating has very high hardness, which significantly increases the blade’s resistance to rust and abrasive wear.

Blade - sheepfoot-style, finished with a Stonewashed treatment to mask minor scratches caused during use, and then coated with a gray PVD coating. The gently curved cutting edge tapers toward the safe tip of the wide blade. Blade thickness and a high, flat grind provide excellent cutting edge geometry and extreme cutting performance. Ceramic ball bearings ensure smooth and seamless operation of the mechanism and assist in opening the blade via a double-sided pin in the blade. On the blade spine, upper jimping, a serrated thumb rest. Locking mechanism: B-Lock.

Handle - aluminum grips, whose surface is decorated with the “Zombie Splatter” pattern. The open-backed construction reduces weight and facilitates cleaning. The pivot pin is adorned with the company logo. The simple, solid construction ensures many years of reliable use. Pivot decorated with a stylized manufacturer's logo. Two-position (right/left) steel deep carry clip allows for discreet carrying of the knife in a pocket in the tip-up position (blade tip facing up). Above the clip is a lanyard hole for a safety or decorative cord.
