342,79 €Socom S/P-M RAM-LOK OD Green Frag Aluminum, Stonewashed is an evolution of one of the most recognizable models in Microtech’s history. Designed by Tony Marfione, it combines the classic, combat-ready silhouette of the Socom series with modern engineering solutions. The design retains the dynamic lines and distinct tactical character of the original, while incorporating technology that meets the contemporary demands of professional users and collectors. The spear point-profile blade is made of M390MK steel and finished with a Stonewashed treatment, which gives it a raw, technical aesthetic and increases resistance to micro-scratches caused during use. The symmetrical blade geometry facilitates precise handling and controlled penetration of materials. The flat grind ensures smooth cutting performance and good cutting edge stability while maintaining structural strength. A key feature is the proprietary RAM-LOK™ system, offering a secure, firm lockup and full functionality for both right- and left-handed users. The aluminum handle features a multi-faceted, precisely sculpted form. Distinct finger grooves and aggressive milling along the spine enhance grip control, especially in demanding conditions. An integrated, reversible tip-up carry clip allows for comfortable and discreet carrying. The Socom RAM-LOK is a design that combines the brand’s heritage with modern locking technology and premium materials—a design for users who expect maximum functionality and uncompromising build quality.
SOCOM Line - the Microtech Socom line takes its name from the United States Special Operations Command, or SOCOM for short. SOCOM is the operational command of the U.S. Department of Defense responsible for special operations. Under its supervision are units such as the Navy SEALs, Air Force PJs, Army Rangers, and others. A knife bearing this name must embody professionalism, and the Microtech SOCOM series absolutely does. They are extremely rugged, crafted from the highest-quality materials, and can withstand all the rigors of the battlefield. They may be an investment, but they are built to survive anything. Whether you choose the Alpha, Bravo, or Elite series, you know you’re buying the best tool on the market. And its legendary reliability has made it the first choice for the special operations community.
M390MK - thanks to the collaboration between engineers at Microtech and Böhler, an exclusive version of M390 steel was created exclusively for Microtech. The carbon content was increased and subjected to more rigorous control, thereby improving the properties of M390 steel to ensure better edge retention, corrosion resistance, and polishability. A martensitic high-performance chromium steel produced using powder metallurgy. Due to its alloy composition, it features exceptionally high wear resistance and high corrosion resistance. Thanks to its high wear resistance, it retains its edge shape well, allowing the blade to stay sharp for a very long time (requires minimal maintenance). Another advantage is its resistance to “wire” formation during sharpening. Steel with a high chromium content of 19.0% (Cr), alloyed with 1.95% carbon (C) and 4.0% vanadium (V), hardened to a hardness range of 59–61 HRC. This super steel is comparable to Carpenter’s CPM 20CV or CTS-204P steels. Manufactured by Böhler Edelstahl in Kapfenberg, Austria.
Blade—with a spear point profile—features a symmetrical line of the spine and cutting edge, which translates to balanced performance and reinforced tip geometry. This design facilitates precise work, controlled cutting, and tasks requiring effective material penetration. The flat grind used creates an efficient geometry, ensuring smooth blade penetration and stability during work under load. The Stonewashed finish reduces the visibility of wear marks and emphasizes the tool’s utilitarian character. Opening is achieved via double-sided thumb studs, while locking is handled by the RAM-LOK™ system, ensuring a solid, repeatable lock and intuitive operation.
Handle - based on precision-machined 6061-T6 aluminum scales coated with a Mil-Spec finish, it was designed with a focus on ergonomics and durability. For a better grip, the handle surface features a distinctive texture mimicking the surface of a fragmentation grenade (Frag Pattern). The multi-faceted geometry and pronounced finger grooves increase grip stability and allow for controlled operation even while wearing gloves. The milled spine improves grip and supports the natural hand position during intensive use. An integrated, reversible tip-up pocket clip allows the carry style to be adjusted to the user’s preferences. Finished with a glass breaker. The construction maintains high rigidity and precise component fit. The result is a handle designed for long-term use, stability, and functionality in a professional environment.
