Borner PM49 Blowback, a faithful reproduction of the iconic Makarov sidearm—once standard issue for Soviet military and law enforcement—renowned for its rugged simplicity and battlefield reliability. The air pistol incorporates a reciprocating slide with a blowback system, delivering enhanced realism with each shot. Built on a heavy-duty, full-metal frame, this 4.5 mm BB steel-shot pistol is powered by CO
2 12g cartridges, making it suitable for dynamic shooting drills, rapid-fire exercises, and tactical training applications.
Construction and materials – engineered primarily from metal with reinforced ABS polymer components. The metal slide and frame enhance structural integrity, while textured polymer grip panels ensure a secure, non-slip hold under operational conditions.
Power system and operation – utilizes a 12 g CO₂ cartridge housed within the magazine. Generates up to 3 J of muzzle energy and a velocity of 120 m/s, enabling effective engagement at distances of 15–20 meters.
