This muzzle-loading model features an open-top steel frame embellished with classic floral engravings and sheriff’s stars. The Sheriff version is equipped with a compact 5-inch barrel, making it an excellent choice for fast-paced shooting in action competitions.
Construction – steel open-top frame with a brass grip frame. The engraved frame and barrel feature a distinctive steel-colored finish. The grip panels are crafted from walnut. The octagonal barrel measures 5 inches and features a 1:30-inch twist rate.
Trigger – the trigger guard and grip frame are made of polished brass. The hammer mechanism offers two positions: half-cock for placing percussion caps on the nipples and full-cock for firing.
Loading Lever – a hinged lever-and-plunger assembly mounted beneath the barrel, designed to firmly seat lead balls in the cylinder chambers.
