The Microtech Marfione Select Bee Carbon Fiber, Blue HW, Stonewashed F/S 440C by Bastinelli (218-12MS5) is a compact fixed-blade push dagger developed in collaboration with Bastinelli Knives. The model features a fully serrated 440C steel blade, a carbon fiber handle, blue titanium mounting components, and a Stonewashed finish.
The compact design comes with a matching Kydex sheath. Pull-the-Dot straps allow you to configure how the sheath attaches to your belt or other gear. The Signature Series and Bastinelli markings on opposite sides of the blade highlight the character of the Marfione Select line.
440C Steel and Full Serration
The blade is made of 440C stainless steel, valued for its corrosion resistance, ease of maintenance, and excellent performance. Full serration Full Serrated increases effectiveness when cutting ropes, straps, belts, and other fibrous materials.
Modified Wharncliffe / Hawkbill and Stonewashed
The compact blade combines features of the Modified Wharncliffe and Hawkbill profiles. The curved geometry helps keep the material being cut in contact with the serrated edge. The Stonewashed finish gives the surface a rugged look and minimizes the appearance of fine scratches and scuffs.
Carbon Fiber, blue hardware, and Kydex sheath
The carbon fiber handle provides high rigidity while remaining lightweight. Blue titanium mounting hardware creates a striking contrast with the carbon fiber surface. The form-fit Kydex sheath protects the serrated blade and allows for secure carrying of the knife.

Frequently Asked Questions
How do I care for 440C steel?
After use, clean the blade and dry it thoroughly. Before long-term storage, you can apply a thin layer of preservative, especially if the knife has been exposed to moisture, salt, or corrosive substances.
How do I sharpen a Full Serrated edge?
Each notch in the serrated edge should be sharpened separately using a conical ceramic rod or a sharpener matched to the diameter of the serrations. Simply gently run the flat side of the blade across a fine whetstone to remove burrs.
How do you care for a carbon fiber handle?
The carbon fiber surface is best cleaned with a soft, slightly damp cloth. Avoid harsh chemicals and abrasives that could dull the finish.
How do you use a Kydex sheath?
Slide the knife into the sheath until you feel it click into place. Before carrying the knife, check the retention and make sure the Pull-the-Dot straps are properly secured.
How to care for the Stonewashed finish?
Wipe the blade with a soft cloth in the direction of the grain. The Stonewashed finish effectively masks minor signs of wear, but it still requires cleaning and drying after use.
