The Microtech Glock G19K S/E Black Aluminum, Black M390MK OTF automatic knife by Tony Marfione (81-1T) is a Double Action OTF automatic knife developed as part of the Microtech × GLOCK collaboration. The model combines a single-beveled Drop Point blade made of Böhler M390MK steel with a black 6061-T6 aluminum handle, whose texture mimics the grip surface of a GLOCK pistol.
A side slide allows the blade to be automatically extended and retracted. The Dual-Fuel Drive Train™ mechanism ensures consistent operation in both directions, while the Crud Kutter™ helps minimize the impact of fibers and fine debris. A reversible clip with a ceramic ball allows the knife to be carried tip-down on either the right or left side of the Handle.
Böhler M390MK and Flat Grind
The blade is made of Böhler M390MK stainless steel, developed specifically for Microtech knives. The material offers high corrosion resistance, good edge retention, and properties suitable for a frequently used OTF automatic knife. The flat grind promotes effective and controlled cutting.
Drop Point, Single Edge, and Black Finish
The Drop Point profile combines a gently sloping spine, a sturdy tip, and a functional cutting edge. The single, smooth Plain Edge is ideal for precise cutting, while the black finish gives the blade a subdued, technical look.
GLOCK-style stippled texture and OTF mechanism
The handle is made of 6061-T6 aluminum and features a black finish. The distinctive stippled texture mimics the grip surface of GLOCK products, increasing the number of contact points with the hand and enhancing control during use. The logos of both brands and the GLOCK-branded clip highlight the nature of this official collaboration.

Frequently Asked Questions
How do I care for Böhler M390MK steel?
After use, clean the blade and dry it thoroughly. Despite its high corrosion resistance, do not leave moisture, salt, or corrosive substances on it. Before long-term storage, you can apply a thin layer of preservative.
How do you sharpen a Drop Point blade?
Sharpen the edge at a constant angle, guiding the tool along the curve of the blade. Near the tip, reduce pressure to preserve its factory profile and avoid rounding off the tip.
How does the Double Action OTF mechanism work?
Pushing the slide forward automatically extends the blade, while moving it in the opposite direction retracts it. The Dual-Fuel Drive Train™ mechanism powers the drive in both directions.
How do you clean a mechanism with the Crud Kutter™ system?
Crud Kutter™ helps minimize the impact of lint and fine debris, but it is not a substitute for regular cleaning. Protect the blade channel and the area around the blade from sand and excess lubricant by using only a small amount of a lubricant specifically designed for OTF pistols.
How do I safely store an OTF knife?
Store the knife with the blade fully retracted, out of reach of unauthorized persons. Before putting it away, make sure the slide mechanism is functioning properly and that the blade channel is free of debris.
