The Microtech MSI Ram-Lok Mini S/E OD Green Frag Aluminum, Black M390MK folding knife by Tony Marfione (210M-1FROD) is a compact folding knife featuring a Modified Sheepsfoot blade made of Böhler M390MK steel and a 6061-T6 aluminum handle in OD Green. The black blade contrasts with the green handle, while the Frag pattern enhances grip and control during everyday use.
Thumb studs on both sides allow for comfortable opening with either the right or left hand. A ball-bearing pivot ensures smooth blade movement, RAM-LOK® allows the lock to be operated from either side, and a reversible deep-carry clip enables tip-up carry.
Böhler M390MK and Flat Grind
The blade is made of Böhler M390MK stainless steel, which offers high corrosion resistance, good edge retention, and properties suitable for a regularly used folding knife. The Flat grind supports effective and controlled cutting.
Modified Sheepsfoot and Black Coating
The Modified Sheepsfoot profile features a lowered tip, a wide blade, and a long section of Plain Edge. The black finish gives the blade a technical look and creates a distinct contrast with the OD Green handle.
OD Green Frag Aluminum and RAM-LOK®
The handle is made of 6061-T6 aluminum and features a milled Frag pattern. Regular indentations increase the number of contact points with the hand, improving grip, control, and ergonomics. A black-finished titanium backspacer complements the color scheme.

Frequently Asked Questions
How do I care for Böhler M390MK steel?
After use, clean the blade and dry it thoroughly. Before long-term storage, apply a thin layer of preservative, especially after contact with moisture or organic substances.
How do I sharpen a Modified Sheepsfoot blade?
Sharpen the edge at a constant angle, guiding the tool along the blade’s factory profile. Near the lowered tip, reduce pressure to avoid rounding off the tip.
How does the RAM-LOK® lock work?
RAM-LOK® uses a crosswise-sliding element that stabilizes the blade when it is fully extended. The mechanism can be operated with either the right or left hand.
How do I clean the OD Green Frag handle?
The milled recesses are best cleaned with a soft brush and mild detergent. After washing, the handle and the area around the lock must be thoroughly dried.
How do you maintain the pivot pin?
The area around the pivot pin should be regularly cleaned of dust and small debris. After cleaning, you can apply a small amount of a light lubricant designed for the pivot mechanism.
