The Fox Chnops Heritage Deer Horn, Satin Hybrid Cryo folding knife by Raven Knives Design (FX-544 CE) is an elegant interpretation of the Chnops model designed by Riccardo Gobbato. The Hybrid Cryo steel blade is paired with natural deer antler grips and a satin finish, creating a folding knife that combines classic materials with modern construction.
The slender Drop Point blade is 75.00 mm long and features a flat grind. A manual flipper allows for comfortable opening, while the Liner Lock secures the blade during use. The reversible deep-carry clip allows for discreet tip-up carry on either the right or left side.
Hybrid Cryo 59–61 HRC
The blade is made of Hybrid Cryo stainless steel, hardened to 59–61 HRC. The flat grind creates a versatile geometry suitable for both precision and everyday cutting.
Drop Point and Satin
The Drop Point profile provides a functional edge belly and a well-controlled tip. The satin finish highlights the grind line and complements the classic character of the natural handle.
Natural Deer Horn
The grips made of Deer Horn introduce a natural texture and the material’s unique character. They are paired with a steel spacer in a Tumbled finish, creating a cohesive interpretation of the Heritage line.

Frequently Asked Questions
How do I care for Hybrid Cryo?
After use, clean the blade and dry it thoroughly. For long-term storage, you can protect the surface with a suitable preservative.
How do I sharpen a Drop Point blade?
Sharpen the smooth edge while maintaining a consistent angle and guiding the tool evenly along the entire length of the blade.
How does the Liner Lock work?
The liner slides behind the base of the open blade and locks it in the open position. Pushing it back allows you to safely close the knife.
How do you clean an antler handle?
Natural antler is best wiped down with a soft, slightly damp cloth and dried quickly. Do not leave the handle in water for long periods of time or use harsh detergents.
How to maintain the pivot?
It’s a good idea to clean the area around the pivot regularly and, if necessary, apply a minimal amount of a light lubricant.
