The Kubey Mini Wrath KU262K is a light-colored version of the compact folding knife designed by MUZI Design, combining a blade made of Sandvik 14C28N steel with a white G10 handle and beadblasted steel hardware. The Claw profile, Liner Lock, and three manual opening methods give the design its distinctive, functional character.
The 62.00 mm blade features a flat grind and a matte bead-blasted finish. To open the knife, you can use the flipper, the opening in the blade, or the Emerson Wave feature, which can open the blade as you pull the knife out of your pocket.
Sandvik 14C28N and Vacuum-Cryogenic Heat Treatment
The blade is made of Sandvik 14C28N steel, hardened to 60–62 HRC. Vacuum hardening combined with cryogenic treatment promotes high hardness, wear resistance, and stable steel properties during regular use.
Claw, Flat Grind, and Bead Blasted
The Claw profile is distinguished by a curved line on the blade and a strongly defined tip. The flat grind supports effective cutting, while the bead-blasted finish gives the blade a matte and subdued appearance.
White G10, Liner Lock, and Sandblasted Hardware
The handle is made of white G10. The gray, sandblasted backspacer and stainless steel clip create a cohesive, lighter aesthetic, and the clip can be mounted on the right or left side in a tip-up configuration.
Ceramic ball bearings ensure smooth blade movement, while the Liner Lock secures the blade when open. The flipper, blade hole, and Emerson Wave provide three different ways to open the knife manually.

Frequently Asked Questions
How do I care for Sandvik 14C28N steel?
It’s a good idea to clean the blade regularly and dry it thoroughly. 14C28N combines corrosion resistance with ease of sharpening and performs well in everyday use.
How do I sharpen the Kubey Mini Wrath?
14C28N steel responds well to ceramic, water, and guided sharpening systems. The most important thing is to guide the blade evenly and maintain the correct angle.
What sharpening angle should be used for the Kubey Mini Wrath?
The recommended sharpening angle range is 15°–20°. This allows you to adjust the edge geometry to your preferred balance between cutting aggressiveness and blade durability.
How does the Liner Lock work?
The Liner Lock uses a spring-loaded liner component that, upon opening, moves behind the blade root and stabilizes the blade in the open position.
How do you maintain ceramic ball bearings?
It’s a good idea to regularly clean the area around the pivot of dust and fine debris. If necessary, you can use a small amount of a cleaning agent designed for knife mechanisms.
